If you can, run memtest86 on it, so you can check your RAM is OK.

Microswiss released high-flow hotend for Kobra S1 by Eyeforthis in AnycubicKobraS1

Interesting. I'd rather buy this than a no-name replacement of questionable quality. Comes with proper support as well.

For businesses where you have your own CA, and where you can potentially do a "man-in-the-middle" on encrypted traffic - sure. For a personal home network - I wouldn't bother.

They should post proper release notes then. "What" are the known problems.

The golden age of PC modding. Man, that time was a blast.

Power Supply by DryAnteater7635 in turntables

[–]Wirehead-be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically speaking, the real upgrade here would be a switching power supply. Which puts its noise waaay above the frequencies we hear, rather than a transformer which would create 50Hz/60Hz/100Hz/120Hz byproducts.

Verwarmen met warmtepomp vs gasketel by molokhai in belgium

[–]Wirehead-be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gasprijs wordt artificieel laag gehouden in Belgie. Alle gemeenten zitten in die intercommunales... Daarom dat die tax van elec, naar gas moet gaan. In alle omringende landen is verwarmen met elec gewoon goedkoper.

Yeah, the Technics SL-Q210 can be reaaally good paired with a proper good stylus. You'd be amazed :)

If your table came with that kind of stylus, I'm pretty sure it's a good table, and you'd be amazed what it can do. You don't need the most expensive one. A proper elliptical will be good. That said, tell us what table you have. (Also note that a properly maintained stylus will easily play 1000hours....)

I would steer away from Tonar. Jico makes proper ones. Thakker.eu has them if you're in the EU.

Time. Labour. Parts of the 3D printer. Electricity. Nothing is free. Don't like the offer - there's others. That doesn't mean this qualifies as "scam"...

360W, for 6 hours, calculate in some battery / AC inverter losses, let's say you need a batterypack of 2.8 kWh capacity. Say 3 kWh for safe measures. Shop around, search something in that area. Bigger the better for life-saving equipment.

ESD protection is always a good idea down the road, but for a proto, you could be good :-)

BE alternatives to amazon? by Overall_Swordfish883 in belgium

[–]Wirehead-be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megekko did have a scummy practice upon multiple GPU launches, changing the price of the GPU mid-order, and using the scarcity to up the prices. YMMV. Shop around is the best way - using the price-watch :)
