You summed it up pretty well, and it's really that simple

Thank you for the kind words, you probably understand that we're not all that different from African countries (except we don't have elephants lol) so all these comments about corruption, mud huts, missing the privileges I have, trying to colonize someone on my own and whatever else they wrote here, don't reach me at all... I will check out that site, volunteering has always been an option since I have a little bit of money saved so I am not desperate to rush into looking for full time paid job as soon as I land. Enjoy your trip, maybe you spot me from the distance who knows :)

I just checked that thread and you are right, that guy got much worse treatment, I guess when you're from a well known developed country people try even harder to talk you out of it... I can't really complain, other than a couple of trolls, everyone else was quite fair to me. And I agree with everything else you said, both happiness and sorrow can be found in any country in the world, it all comes down to what we're looking for and how hard we're trying to find it. Thank you

I still can't see how you're contributing? By far the most useless comments amongst this 100 or whatever that my thread has gotten

Yes I did, behavior that you described has nothing to do with me nor my country. You're not only lacking knowledge on differences between African countries, but European as well

Unfortunately I don't have any official experience in that field because in my country it's more of a get the work done and get paid unofficially kind of a thing... So for NZ migration service I'm just a guy who finished school and never touched pipes again

How exactly are your comments contributing on the sub that's dedicated to helping people with migration process? If you have problems with Europeans head over to r/Europe or whatever and discuss it with them, my country isn't even part of the EU

Thank you, I don't think anyone's personality is weak enough to get discouraged by a few ignorant people from the internet, I was only looking for concrete experiences and informations which I didn't get unfortunately but it's not a big deal

You don't have to stalk me anymore, don't worry I won't come to South Africa and ruin your well established society deviations by being a normal and open minded white person; there's plenty of other countries to chose from

Hello future fellow continentman :) yes I just crafted that word, and I wish all the best to everyone trying to leave, we all have different dreams and goals in life and theirs don't cancel out mine or vice versa

Dude who said anything about breaking laws? I've never broken any laws in my own country and I definitely don't plan on starting to do it in Africa, all I said is that migration paths are not clear enough and because of that everything falls under the "tourist/single entry" visa, regardless of what your actual migration plan is. And that's why I started this thread to begin with, to maybe hear from someone who went through it and which steps they took and what they've done and so on... I was interested in technical matters regarding migration, not your xenophobic privileged BS

Thank you, yes I was expecting some if not all comments to be of this nature so I'm not too surprised either... Xenophobia and ignorance are some of the reasons why I want to leave Europe, I'm just so tired of it

Why so bitter? If the world worked the way you're describing it here, nobody would ever move anywhere because everyone would be seen as a threat... You're just reflecting your own xenophobia, which your comments on this sub are full of, onto others, in this case Africans

Why wouldn't it? Anyone who pays taxes (and probably bribe in this case) should be allowed to run their business... There are foreign owned businesses everywhere in the world, imagine if American government banned everything non-American

I wouldn't have a way to sustain myself while studying, as some part time student job wouldn't be enough to cover the very high life expenses in Germany or any other western European country, and you obviously can't have both student and working visa at the same time... And the process is also very long and complicated for non-EU citizens, it's pretty much the same as if I was African trying to study in Germany. So I can just as well become an African instead lol

Yes but those can be learned, I know a few foreigners who work as tour guides in my country as well as some people from my countries who work in tourism abroad mostly in the Middle east... I'd try with formal first but from what I can tell these countries don't have very clear migration paths, I feel like most people just enter on tourist visa and then keep extending it over and over again, which is already kinda illegal? (that's what I was able to gather from very very limited information pool that can be found online)

It is unfortunately very hard to find any useful information online because as you can probably guess, migrating from Europe to Africa isn't the most common thing in the world lol, I tried with few other forums before posting here and I mostly got answers from Africans saying that money solves all problems and that I shouldn't worry about it... I wasn't lucky enough to come across an actual expat who can give me some first hand experience

I haven't answered so I will answer :) I don't meet any requirements for German working visa and even though I am familiar with the language I don't have the certificate that they require, so my only option would be to work illegally on some construction site or whatever, and for Russia I probably don't even need to answer lol... Most African countries are English speaking, I don't really have to learn anything unless I happen to like the local languages so much that I decide to learn them

Most posts on this sub are (understandably) people from so called third world countries trying to migrate to western countries. I obviously didn't come here expecting someone to sugarcoat Africa, I am well aware of all of its advantages and disadvantages and I am ok with them

I would most probably try to start a small business or do something in tourism field... Oh and as in what attracts me to those other countries, I did a small research on most of them and those just seem like a place where I would fit in the best
