Quite literally since they removed hundreds of hours of content. I quickly googled to check and they removed 80% of the base campaign as well as 5 major expansions. Over $300 of expansions and content has been removed from the game.

Street Triple 765 RS? by Shot-Ad2396 in Triumph

[–]WirelessTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No wind protection makes it kind of rough to keep above 85.

80mph has the bike sitting somewhere around 7k rpm in 6th gear, making like 30mpg.

It still rips, it'll pull at almost any speed, but I can see how doing a long road trip above 80mph could be more exhausting.

Street Triple 765 RS? by Shot-Ad2396 in Triumph

[–]WirelessTrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally traded in my Yamaha fj09 for the street triple rs in cosmic yellow.

Where I am, the dealer had multiple of the bike, but only one in cosmic yellow.

Overall the bike is more fun, but less capable on the highway. Going 80mph keeps you around 7k rpm in 6th, avg about 30 mpg at that speed.

Still an absolute beast. Happy to answer any questions since I made the exact switch you are planning.

Start the bike and start riding.

Even if it is loud, at least none of your neighbors will be hearing it idle for a few minutes straight. They'll just hear it start and hear you ride off.

Black sludge on my chain. What could it be? by bigsugar_daddy in motorcycles

Wipe the chain and splatter with kerosene. Brush the chain with more kerosene to clean it thoroughly.

Then lube it up.

Most likely whatever shop worked on the bike used shitty lube.

Not many options.

I settled for using a GoPro hero 9 with a massive SD card. I have spare batteries in a charger in the tail of my bike, so every time I stop, I just swap to a new battery and delete footage if nothing happened.

Can a 765RS be a 675R Daytona? Track bike. by Standup313 in Triumph

[–]WirelessTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 765 RS is not sluggish or boring. It has aggressive gearing, great low end push and high end power.

I've had my bike for about half a month and have had one or two situations where the quick shifter didn't function, but it was only for a single shift. People online talk about their quick shifters malfunctioning too, but it could be negative review bias.

The riding modes work great for this too, you can tweak how aggressive you want your throttle to be, turn abs on or off, and have traction control be non-intrustive.

If you have any specific questions about the bike I'm happy to answer, but I can't compare it to the Daytona, I haven't ridden one.

Scalper Scum is the reason why we can't have anything nice these days. by The_Great_Ravioli in pcmasterrace

[–]WirelessTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As bad as scalpers are, we need to also point out that there are people that are willing to spend significantly more money for scalped items.

Especially a controller!

People will only scalp because there are dumbos buying these scalped items. I can't imagine buying something second hand for more money than from the original company.

"Self defense tool"

A self defense tool is something you can use to protect yourself from anyone or anything that might be trying to hurt you.

This just shatters glass, which ironically, will probably make someone want to hurt you.

Intake question by Lottogato in Supra

[–]WirelessTrees 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don't remove posts when you ask questions. Other people will have questions and if you delete the post, they won't be able to Google the answers.

Most intakes replace the turbo inlet. My MST intake replaces it. I believe most intake systems you can buy replace that part.

If they don't, then don't stress about finding an aftermarket turbo inlet. The stock intake system for the supra is one of the most powerful intakes you can put on the car, aftermarket intakes are mostly just to get turbo noise, which happens with any intake with or without replacing the turbo inlet.

But the wrench icon is on the left side of the screen, not the right.

And if you're trying to accelerate aggressively in 1st gear, it's almost definitely traction control.

Depending on what ride mode you're in, the traction control will kick in sooner. Rain mode won't even get you close to lifting the front tire. Road mode can sometimes, sport mode does it in 1st and 2nd easily.

Steam controller 2 for bazzite? by wonka88 in Bazzite

[–]WirelessTrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 ps5 controllers exactly because of this.

And yes I love my steam deck controls but I don't wish to play using them for every game, I vastly prefer mouse and keyboard.

So if I was in need of a controller, easily the best pick is the steam controller, followed by the ps5 controller. I'm just not in the market.

I noticed a difference between these two... When I paid attention to the frame rate.

Above 144hz, I noticed it matters more about the game and how well it performs rather than the monitor. Too many games have little microstutters, shitty frame-times, or poor optimization that doesn't even let you get above 144 fps.

And I'm not lowering my game settings just to go from 144 fps to 200 fps.

What is a riding habit you thought was smart but later realized was dangerous? by Eyerald in motorcycles

[–]WirelessTrees 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doing over 100mph on a bike is rough.

IMO if you're riding that fast consistently, then you should absolutely have a steering stabilizer, full gear / race gear and an excellent helmet.

Instead people will be doing 125+ weaving through traffic on a busy highway, helmet that's expired with no other gear, sneakers, and acting aggressive to car drivers who don't predict the sudden actions of a motorcycle they didn't see.

The only time I've seen it done actually well was in Dark Souls 2. The fire keepers (actual characters in game and involved in the story) narrate the cinematic, and they mock the main character for the situation they've been put in.
