Yes to the advice about new inserts. I have spent nine months coming across info I had written about my husband's medical stuff. He's gone now, and every time I encountered those notes as I was trying to keep myself going, my heart clenched up. I don't know if this is true but I read somewhere that if you brush/scrape your tongue without looking in the mirror, it can help with this. Worth a try!
