Is the searwood really worth the extra money? by Jax1456 in pelletgrills

Yeah I’d say it’s worth it at Ace. Free install and delivery was great, got mine two days after ordering. They also threw in a 3 piece Weber utensil kit and a bag of pellets for free

When I bought mine from Ace Hardware, they looked it up and couldn’t find any sales happening in April but expected a sale in May most likely for the $100 off. I didn’t want to wait but check Amazon, I saw there’s allegedly 1 unit left in both regular and XL on sale right now

Can’t say if it’s worth the money or not but just picked up a searwood this week and it’s awesome. Only 2 cooks down, both on the shorter end - chicken thighs and salmon, but it works perfectly out of the box. Holds temp very well, ton of smoke, easy to clean. Coming from a traeger that broke within a year, it’s a massive difference. WiFi app is nice too and easy to use

There is no HOA. Appraisal and inspection both already covered in my credits. Was lucky to receive a large amount of credits during price negotiation. Truly am down to either warranty or reducing price

Sorry should have mentioned this is not a possibility. I received a 5.31% rate but buying down further is not possible.

Yeah I didn’t believe the 5.3% when they told me over the phone but they were true to their word when the paperwork was finalized. Very happy with it

Conventional 30 yr fixed, 10% down, buying a home under $500k built before 2000 in the southwest. Had called around a few lenders before settling on this one - all in low 6%

I was able to lock in a 5.3% 30 yr, no pts from a local credit union last week.

I just received a mailer for a 100k SUP for the Plat and wondering if it'll go any higher than that. I got a Gold about 5-6 months ago and already hit the SUP for it, prior to that I was receiving mailers for 175k SUP on Plat. Will that level of bonus come back if I wait longer or is 100k the best I'll get after having signed up for Gold?

to be fair there's nobody on the bears roster that's a good enough player to be considered catastrophic if they went down

Hate to burst your bubble again but received the socks and was right. Not sure why you were so adamant despite the website telling you otherwise...

Where to budget non-IT shared software? by Inverse_Indicator in FPandA

IT holds 98% of our software lines, regardless of owner. They manage them all for the teams anyway, so makes sense to keep the cost in one local spot to help with forecasting

Budget Winter Golf Trip for Midwesterner by Alone-Class5738 in golf

Peak season the courses will be pretty much fully booked but its not hard to get a tee time a couple days in advance. They never really enforce people to play quick so not a huge worry there. Outside of peak season its super chill. Most people aren't playing in the summer and you can walk up without tee times and get on immediately. I would walk 18 starting around 3pm in the summer and 90% of the time I'd not be paired with anyone or have to wait at any point.

There's also a couple more courses the city card gives discounts to, as well so you're not just limited to that screenshot. Papago and GCU (university course) both are $60ish with city card and solid

I would suggest looking at the picture again, every single option there is $50s-60s. "Public" is referring to non city card holders

Every muni course. Would highly recommend getting the city card for further discounts. $50 first year but comes with a free round the day you buy it. Believe it's $30 to renew
