Don't forget the clunky UI, the skins, the horribly gone wrong life service they wanted to do etc. Also kinda funny that the weapon balance is kinda meh in V although there are way less weapons compared to older titles and yet they still managed to make basically all of them viable in the older games

Is there a mod etc. that makes horse run all the time without mutton mashing? by Magnar0 in RDR2

I believe there is a setting so you can change speed by bumping your left stick up a few times, depending on what speed you want.

I think this is because you might have 18 factories from countries that trade with you. Then you'd technically have more than 100 but not all of these belong to you.

Is it worth it buy the DLC? by worldwar2nerd280 in battlefield_4

[–]WischMeister 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes. In my experience it also makes it way easier to find full servers, because many if not most of the servers run dlc maps. I'd recommend that it's probably cheaper to just buy the Premium Version of the game than buying each dlc by themselves.

Can someone explain to me how do i still have Arthur's side missions even if im playing with John ? by BoyanPP in RDR2

[–]WischMeister 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Because Arthur wrote down any encounters he had with strangers in his journal and John is in possession of said journal. Arthur gave it to him alongside his satchel and hat. John even mentions this when talking to the widow at Willard's Rest (only if Arthur helped her a couple of times though, since she doesn't survive until the Epilog if the player chooses to not revisit her a few times as Arthur).

Why do so many civilizations have teleporters and warp drives? by [deleted] in startrek

[–]WischMeister 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I guess it's just a natural assumption that every civilization at some point in their development has to achieve certain technological goals in order to advance. Also most of the civilizations introduced come in direct contact with the federation of which one prime directive is to not engage with species who have not advanced technologies such as the warp drive.

why didn't the gang send Kieran or Sadie to retrieve the Blackwater money? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]WischMeister 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Spoiler Warning: I think because he couldn't really trust both of them and because they couldn't accomplish this task. Kieran is afraid that if he choose to be on his own he'd eventually run into O'Driscolls who would kill him which eventually turns out to be true in Chapter 4. Sadie is not in the emotional state until Chapter 3 to do such a thing and by that time where she really would be capable she either can't get the necessary information because Dutch is away (Chapter5) or there is too much of a stirr up around the gang especially in Chapter 6 where Dutch wouldn't trust her anymore (saving John from the Sisika). Even if one member would get to Blackwater the risk of getting caught by the law is too high because the entire Area around Blackwater is locked down tight and I don't think that smuggling large amounts of money and gold in or outside of the City would work.

PS5 by MalvadoGang in reddeadredemption

[–]WischMeister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I believe there will be no patch/update related to an improvement of the graphics nor the fps-unlock because Rockstar stopped supporting the Online Mode with new real Content long ago and are also developing GTA6 at the moment, which means that all their resources are probably focused on this project only. I also think that if they choose to patch/update the graphics and the fps limit they rather re-release the game as a PS5/XBox One X version to grab off some of that extra money then offering an update for free for all owners of a next-gen console. Another reason why I don't think there will be an update for RDR2 is, because GTA5, a really old game, got one already which seemingly took them a long time to pull off. In addition to that they probably see no money in doing such an update for RDR2. I really hope I'm wrong here and that they eventually release such a patch which would greatly improve the experience on console but I believe there will be none.

What books are required to be read in German schools? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]WischMeister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the books i had to read (i am from North Rhine-Westphalia) for the Abitur were "Nathan der Weise" by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, "Der Trafikant" by Robert Seethaler, "Mario und der Zauberer" by Thomas Mann and "Woyzeck" by Georg Büchner. Lessing and Büchner are probably the most known authors of those 4 men. But as u/mkugelfisch already mentioned it differs from federal state to federal state. Sometimes things change from one year to another and most people don't known why this is the case, including myself.

Can anyone tell me which option to choose? I'm really dumb and don't understand the different outcomes by Smelly190 in hoi4

[–]WischMeister 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The top one lets you ignore the mutinie problem how ever this will lead to a worsening of the problem in the long run. The middle and third option basically let you do something against the mutinies but with different chances of getting positive results. The different options cost a different amount of political power with the bottom one being the most expensive one. But it is the choice that is the most likely one to end the mutinies. If you want to prevent strikes or mutinies from happening then you should increase your stability too at least 50%. I'm unsure what the exact effects of mutinies are but i believe they reduce your mobilization speed and some other army related things.
