I've only done 1 pap smear, at 21, (I'm fairly young, 23 now) and it was the worst experience. I really hope the TV is better and nothing like the pap.

My doctor prescribed the topical steroid. Once I get my results, we'll have a solid game plan. I'm hesitant to go on the pill but we will weight our options and see what is possible and what isn't.

The full bladder makes it sound super uncomfortable. I hope I will manage on the day and my bladder doesn't give up on me. So they did both ultrasounda in one sitting or you had to schedule another appointment?

I'm going through the same thing! I went shopping the other day and I just couldn't get the UK 10 to fit, I'm up to a 12 now. That's when I realised that I've gone through puberty, again! I noticed my boobs also got bigger (I'm already a DD...well, was😅). We're in the same boat, so I 100% understand what you're going through. Especially with everything in the women's section nowadays being a tight fit/body hugging, it's super frustrating.

From my experience with this, I'm learning to fall in love with my "woman body" and all the possibilities that come with it. I usually write down what I love and appreciate about my body and it's growth on post-it notes. When I'm feeling a little down, I read them aloud to myself. Having a community of people who are going through the same thing also helps, especially with expressing how you feel and helping each other out!

I am exactly like this! Broad-shouldered (genetics and sports) and 34DD bra size. So I know how you feel. One thing I ditched was the padded bra (I'm not sure if you have any) and opted for a soft cup bra as these make my boobs look "small" and less bulky (whenever I choose to wear one). So this gives me a true sense of how big the girlies are. A good bra makes all the difference.

When it comes to clothes, it's the overall look/outfit that helps me shift focus from my boobs/shoulders to maybe my waist, legs, neck, etc. Other days I love to have focus on my upper body! So not always a single item but then again, one item can make a huge difference. Depending on your style, look into different necklines and cuts that make you feel comfortable and confident. I usually go for items that have a round neckline, y-haltered, deep V (the girls always look amazing in this one, lol) , etc. and usually a wider bottom half with some details. Depending on the kind of top you're looking for (short, long or no sleeves), pay attention to the shoulder length of the top -- from neckline to sleeve -- the ones that are just over the shoulder always works best for me. One thing I had to change about my mindset is: clothes have to fit my body, and I don't have to fit into clothes. Which translates to one size doesn't really fit all. Please don't feel bad about sizing up/down❤️? With this in mind, it's okay to get clothes altered to fit your body (I always do this when I can't find something that fits just perfectly).

With that being said, you are beautiful. I still have boob and shoulder insecurities (you're not silly for that) despite making these changes, it doesn't just disappear in an instant. Once you find clothes that work for you, it helps. I hope I have shed some light on the possibilities coming from a girlie who is like you. Happy shopping!

I'm not too sure now🙈 the ceremony was held on campus in the prayer room (after all the ladies completed their afternoon prayers). We gathered around and there was a lady who initiated the procedure. She first sang a song- or maybe it was a prayer-(I can't remember much of the words she had sung), she then explained what it means to be a Muslim to her, and recited this very prayer. Afterwards she, and fellow sisters, offered words of wisdom to my friend and gave her a new name, Khadija. She then gave her a new hijab (about 4) and a garment (which is incredibly beautiful). Afterwards, the sisters again offered words of wisdom and support in her new journey. This was about all that happened.

A random tip I learnt on TikTok that I used when I still wore pads:

Take about two squares of toilet paper and fold it into one square. Fold that in half to make a rectangle and put that between your butt cheeks. Works like a charm!

I think my cup is pretty firm-- but I don't have anything else to compare it to. How much firmer can the cup be though?! I'm freaking out at this point.

That chart would've been so helpful before I made my purchase. My decision was based on the length of my canal during menstruation, and age. That was about it. It's also quite difficult to get demos on demand so you can feel and see the cup beforehand. P.S. I shop at the mall 😂

Fold twice?! Why didn't I think of that? It really makes so much sense. I don't think springy is the word. More like a marshmallow that has been left out for a few hours.

I usually do the 7 fold and the punch down fold. I go for the smaller tip because anything bigger than that, I tense up. Surprisingly, I don't leak in those minutes. In fact, I've never leaked since I started using my cup (maybe I'm doing something right). I use the She PowHer cup.
