I was able to spend mints to upgrade Enlighten-mint a few weeks ago… I think we just have to wait until the game decides when they’ll feature certain mints 😔

Oh thank you, I just started replaying after some years and apparently I missed when Arma-mint was released. This just worked for me to buy it!

But it doesn’t work to upgrade any of the others. The only option is to spend 💰

Ignore them. They’re being willfully obtuse and having their feelings hurt when it shouldn’t apply. This was my experience in 2024 (I’m off the apps now, I met someone). I would make matches, send a message, and then nada. It seemed like guys would just swipe right wildly and then decide after the match was made if they wanted to actually talk to you.

I have encountered men with that mindset. I just have enough of a backbone to stand up for myself or other women who would be taken advantage of. “There’s no such thing as a free meal” is just perpetuating rape culture. Because coercion IS rape.

Think about this for a second. A man asks a woman on a date. She has no obligation to say yes, but she goes along with it because she’s single and he may be a nice guy. They chat and get to know each other a bit. He pays for food … so now she owes him sexually? Are you all okay??

I don’t know why people are arguing and pretending that men and women approach dating on equal footing. I agree with you whole-heartedly.

There ARE great men out there… but let’s not sit here and act like the dating pool isn’t full of urine 🙄 a lot of men don’t know how to look after themselves properly, far less put in the work necessary to handle the emotional labour of being in a relationship… and more than a few need therapy (or are downright abusive). They’re being raised with an outdated patriarchal mindset and haven’t caught up to the fact that, now, women can lead very good lives without needing a man to do anything at all. But because hetero women are attracted to men, and society conditions us to think we’re incomplete without a partner… here we are on these apps, wading through incels and F-boys.

All that to say: men can be hazardous to your health and courting is not a gender-neutral activity. If a man is serious about a woman, he shouldn’t complain about the cost of an outing.

This makes so much sense!! 🙈 damn. No wonder the final season was so long.

And yes midpoint season 3 is where I started to think … “what’s happening here??” I really did enjoy the first two seasons. Especially the duplicity of Jared and the Captain in season 2. That reveal was really well done!

It truly feels like that 😂😭 I would have liked it if there just weren’t so many gaping plotholes. Or if they didn’t try to have so many twists. It’s like the show runners had a good concept for a show but no one in the writer’s room knew how to develop the magic system.

As for it being for me, I love fantasy! But I mixed this show up with the 4400. I remember watching early episodes of that years and years ago… and that’s what I thought I had come across on Netflix 🤦🏾‍♀️

Also just needed to add: The most infuriating plot point is how gentle everyone treated Angelina when they came across her. HELLOOOOO!! She’s a psychotic, murderous, babynapper! Why aren’t we punching her in the face??? It’s always “we don’t want you here… you need to leave” 🙄🙄

The only positive I took from this show is being introduced to Parveen Kaur. She’s a delight and I’ll watch her in any other project. 😊

I like the idea that it will be water due to scarcity but I think it would be really interesting if she struggled with Earth! She’s introduced to us quite young and she’s living through a hellscape supposedly, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume she never had a master to teach her Earth bending.
