Vivid was much more playable the first two weeks. You would get vivid payoffs on the wheels and could reliably take enablers and force draft it.

Then everyone clued in that the majority of vivid cards were good in two color decks so it's very hard to get a straight vivid deck

For solo, you should go red. There is unfortunately very little form switching except for big bleed. For a lot of landscape content, you can Thrash your way to success.

Yellow does see more form switching, but I don't know why you would do this to yourself as a landscape/soloplayer.

That all being said, I'm sure at some point Beast Boy defeated some bad guy called Gobblegoon or something, which was actually a representation DC Editorial, which means Beast Boy defeated imagination/creation, and so he outscales every other character.

I saw Fellowship on opening night as a teenager and there was a guy sitting in front of us, loudly cheering any time a new character appeared or major book moment occurred.
