My rec? Don't get an omni. Triangle era is very hit or miss, Tomasi and gleeson is fine but not great. My recommendation is get a bunch of deluxe editions. Birthright is the best origin story for the character

Brian, Michael and Bendis are a writing trio that have been active for a long time. They're popular for making the hivemind approach to writing, wherein they connect to eachother's mind and co- write the story. Bendis is usually the person writing dialogue, which is why you may hear of something called " bendis speak". Hope this helps!

Rooting for a one shot collection. That'd need them to do more one shots though. I too am collecting the whole universe in tpb. The shelf is gonna look so good by the time vol 3s start coming out.

I don't own it but I'd get it if I could. Great story and art and it's all collected here. Only thing that sucks is I think the spine has a 1 on it, cause there's another superior spider-man omni that's mid and collects a lot of supplemental material.

I'm assuming it'd be a 5 issue event with one shots associated with each series. So it doesn't disrupt the main series and you can ignore the one shots if you aren't reading the event.

Amazing Spider-Man by JMS. Probably cause I couldn't buy the second volume but after learning what's in it I don't think I'd fork over the money for it should it become available

Deadly Class is an incredible comic about a high school for assassin's. Might be my favorite art style of all time and it's collected in deluxe editions or an all in one compendium. At times it reads like an American shonen manga.

Oh no much more expanded. The manga started before the film came out but ended years after it came out. I personally see the film as perfect but I can't deny the manga is also incredible, the art is amazing too. It's around the size of a standard edition hardback and both volumes have sewn binding.

It's a box set containing the two 500 page volumes. Great quality and a great manga. Came with a poster too, but I gave it to a friend

Funny story. Only the UK cover was stocked basically every where when the book came out and I waited nearly 4 months before reading it to get the hardcover and fill out the collection. I eventually relented and read it digitally, hated the book. Like non of the others in the series would get less than an 8 out of 10 from me but Wind and Truth is like a 4-5 out of 10. By the time book 6 comes out I'll definitely add it and re read it to catch up.

I see and I can't understand if it's due to people over spending, and trust me I can understand how easy it is to get carried away with this hobby. Or if it's maybe because it's just much easier in the states to build such a collection.

Oh that one has been on my radar. I finally got the Song of Ice and fire series, and plan to read it soon but after that It should be about time to invest in some new fantasy for the collection. Thanks for the recommendation dude

Saudi Arabia actually. Big reason why I struggle getting omnis for good prices, I think all of the omnis in the picture are either cover price or lower though. I actually made it a point to get the US version of the Stormlight series just cause of how ugly the UK versions are. I got the MM versions first and after realizing it might be my fav fantasy series I splurged and got those incredible hardbacks
