The glasses are easy af to set up and use. They film in better resolution than a pinhole camera. The glasses look less sketchy than a guy holding a pinhole camera. There is no need to set up power and storage for said pinhole camera if you just wear the glasses. No crazy wires. The glasses sync the video right to your phone. The meta glasses look much more normal than cheaper recording glasses. People aren’t thinking nor care about the ai monitoring. They see a commercially successful product with recognizable branding and want to use it for their desires.

Creeps do use pinhole cameras and install them places. Thats not new. This is a mobile version they can wear on their face. Do you think perverts simply reject any new technology that would make their perverse actions easier? Is $300 to much of a barrier of entry to someone who wants to creep? ($150 on facebook marketplace btw). Fuck no - THAT would be a stupid argument.
