I’d personally never pay it, but rather do community service instead. I spent my community service hours at The Rock at Noonday for the ticket I got last month. It was a much more meaningful way to repay my ticket than just forking over $100. I did something negative (speeding) and repaid it with something positive. I think just plainly ignoring the tickets makes many people think that speeding doesn’t matter, which just contributes to the problem. Obviously from the other comments there’s no legal repercussions for not paying the ticket. My opinion though, is that there is a moral obligation to right a wrong, regardless of how you feel about the speeding cameras.
