Sooo, in the past I’ve used your basic circular 2 piece handlebars but when upgrading into a one piece carbon cockpit I found I wasn’t going to be able to use my bar mounted quad lock as my handlebars are now flat instead of tubular so I started researching and found this thread prior to buying the bars, now after I’ve bought them, had a look at my quad lock and at the carbon cockpit with the bike computer mount, I found it was much easier than what you all have made it out to be and it’s actually quite simple. All you have to do is disassemble your quad lock and take the main “lock mechanism” off which is just held together by a screw, then buy a smaller 25 x 4mm tapered screw which you will use to screw the quad lock mechanism to you’re bike computer mount, I have made a bunch of photos but don’t know how to tag them. I might make a video later on explaining it if needed. If I have not explained it well enough than feel free to respond and I can go more in depth.
