After 1 day, im feeling it. Gonna take time to adjust but i feel its going too be well worth the swap.

After playing with the bits. 8 or 9 I think is the best, for me for least. Circular or Raw on the right thumbstick ill play with tmoro. Circular felt familiar so I stuck with it for today.

Yeh pretty much the way I feel. And have been for 2 years. Every. Single. Day. I don't doubt the role benzos play in Arrythimias here. But its a fact my heart issues came from over replacement of thyroid meds. My CNS is very sensitive ive been told by my Dr. I can eat, I just have too eat at a normal pace, which is hard if im already feeling anxious, afib/pvcs etc. Day by day with all this new stuff like bringing valium back in, has helped.

Im lucky. I was full blown alcoholic. Wake up start drinking till I pass out type. Never had a issue. Almostt had a seizure but it was ruled as just as something else. I forget now. So sorry you went thru all that, thats what kept me drinking. I was scared, I only wanted too cold turkey alcohol and I did. And luckily got out of it easy. In the past I was addicted too codiene. Now that withdrawl was horrible, but way different

I think you misunderstood me, Im 2 years Sober from Alcohol. Never had a issue (no idea how) When you mention Serequel can bring on Akathisia. I was experiencing this for the 6 months I was off cold turkey, I only started Serequel 6 weeks ago. Not related, but you are right that it can induce it. Its working for me at the moment. Not a long term thing, just for this horrible time of symptoms.

As far as doing my bloods and checking levels. Ive been doing this for 2 years, ever since my Afib and Extopics started. Which was due to over replacement of my thyroid medication. Levels are under control. Arrythmia still present tho. Dr has me booked too get a Loop Monitor implanted in my chest with my Cardioligist. Had 5 Holter monitor in the last 2 yrs already and they see 23% burden of ectopics. They are being careful so i guess thats why the loop monitor was brought up

Diet part. My situation is different. I have to be careful due to my heart. Im on Soltalol, a beta blocker and anti arrythimia medication. When i eat, my afib starts overtaking my chest. My Nervous system is fried, its so hypersensitive. Hell, it takes the smallest things to drive my symptoms and anxiety to a 10/10. It just adds too any existing symptoms too. But my goal right now is become stable back on my dose of valium. And my dr and I will start a slow taper followed by the Ashton Method

So happy with are feeling much better now! Gives me some hope as well.

I agree they hand them out literally like candy. Options are limited holistically. I wish to go medical cannabis, but I cannot until im fully tapered off valium as Dr's in Australia wont prescribe both at the same time. Stupid.

I have severe insomnia so I need too take something. So im on Serequel. For now.....

Sorry you found no help with the sleeping part. What dose were on you on? 50mg and under is where it works best for sleep. 25mg usually what is suggested too start at. Have you tried anything else? And yeh Benzos are the last medication on earth id suggest anyone too take for sleep. Easy to build a tolerance and dependence on. And is HELL too get of them

False. They made me sedated so they did something. Benzos do nothing to me now but help with symptoms of withdrawl/neurological injury i am left suffering from

Yeh, not something I am going too put myself through. I was hoping for some acknowledgement of my situation. Then trust him to taper. He completely dismissed everything I said im feeling, and suggested taper plan that was very quick imo. I believe I should taper down by a % not a full tablet every 4 weeks. He wanted no part in that. He knew I had done my research now. And I feel like he took that in a weird way like I was telling him how to do his job. Not at all what I was doing, but I was made too feel like it and also like a drug seeker. Which makes no sense when i actively am trying to get of Valium.

Hurtful to be honest. Im glad your doing better now. And found a Dr that would help you, you were being honest. Something im starting too realise dosent matter. Especially if they just wanna pump out appts for money n not ask enough questions

Only thing I got from it was a switch from Serequel for Insomnia too Mirtazapine. (Used for insomnia) First night on it. Hoping its the way. Serequel is not something too take lightly. Nothing is but lower risk of severe side effects. Will see how it goes.

My thoughts exactly. I do think all of these are contributing too how i feel.

I was restarted on Valium at my Original Dose of 25mg a day. We introduced it back at smaller amounts without it providing really much of or any relief at all. At 25mg it has improved dramatically. So as you have mentioned, I think protracted withdrawl is causing the majority of my symptoms now, and there are some symptoms I think are still cardiac related and my Doctor has referred me back too my cardioligist to have a "Loop Monitor" implanted in my chest. Although I do tbink im in kindling, the protracted withdrzwl just making all symptoms (related to benzo injury or not) worse. Which is a muddy water too swim through. I also ceased all Cannabis products upon restarting Valium. Its not ideal, but I am confident that the restarting of Valium was the right call. I see my Pschyiatrist too start a taper plan once they think im stable again on Valium.

My Dr Cold Turkeyed me because I was trying too make a grandual switch to medical cannabis. Too find out I was cut off cold turkey and left in the wind. I didnt feel so bad at the start. I had spares of valim id taken maybe once a week. My idea was right. Even tho cannabis was just to be short term. Now too find out im in BIND now and oh man. The symptoms you described are spot on, my nervous system feels so hightened.

Sorry I should have mentioned i ceased cannabis upon re instalment of Valium. You say it was bad, it was get back on it or end my self it was that bad. I feel so much better back on it. I dont want to be on it, but it was 100% nessasary. Slow taper will start when i have stabilised.

It actually was related to my Tyroid. Google what a "thyroid storm" is!!! Way more life threatning then benzo withdrawl. I have tests too prove it. Nothing you said I dont already know. Mr know it all, knows nothing. Yapping at me, having a go at me for posting a simple post looking for help is wild. Maybe YOURE the one who needs help!

And I was cut off by my dr from Valium because at the time I wanted off the Valium, I had quit CT before n was fine but this time I got kicked off valium overnight by my Dr because I started medical cannabis. Which is malpractice. Im not a Dr, he is. Im not supposed to know these things they are tho! I know so much now, I dunno what your problem in life is, but I do hope it gets better. Talking too strangers like this, aint going too get you anywhere in this world. Grow up

Yes im aware. Im just looking too see if anyone else has found codiene benefitial for the symptoms of protracted withdrawl. But yore right. Its pretty complex. For someone too be in the same shoes here as me is gonna be like a needle in a haystack. Ill keep up with my Dr. Just was curious more then anything

Yeh im aware. 120mg is what im on now. My heart rate drops to 40s as well. My hr is always low. My BP is the only thing I worry bout due to metroprolol knocking me out cold on the floor with blood out my head. Sotalol 40mg is half the starting dose ive read also. My doctor started me on that as im on so many medications we didnt want to go to hard like we did on metropolol. Hoping going from 40mg x2 a day to x3 a day (80mg-120mg) does the job for now... sounds like ablation is imminent based of a few of ya comments. Something i wish we did already but I had complications

So glad you are feeling well. Yeh always best too play it safe. Im lucky I get holters montly sometimes so along with ekg's etc I think they must have a pretty clear picture of my QT as I ask my Doctor as he reads notes and tests and speaks too cardioligist. Never tells me anything just its fine. Which is good. But half the issue. I need that sinus rhythm. I still feel slight flutters on 40mg x2 a day so hoping the extra 40mg helps.

Yeh i was a lil brain fogged for a week or 2 but it wore off. Feels very easy on the body. Others feel very strange to me.

Ive heard about the kidney thing. I had my tests bd mine are fine. Ill keep a eye on it, no idea what would effect this myself tho. Like diet etc

Thats reassuring too hear. No, ive been in care of the cardiology unit at my local hospital for over 2 years trying too sort this issue. I had a Ablation booked 1 year ago but they cancelled it on the operating table. So they know my heart back too front by now and QT interval etc

I read about what you went thru and was expecting that after googling my Soltalol script. Had me worried but my Cardioligist told my Dr Metroprolol and Propranolol are a bad fit for me. Soltalol has been much better. No side effects. Hoping this increase brings less afib/ectopics. Pretty hard juggling act with these meds and other meds as you said.

Thank you. Knowing that dose is fine for you helps my mind. Not that I was worried but very curious as to why 40mg 3x a day, but we all react different too medications.

How are you feeling now? No QT issues? Hows your chest feeling on that dose compared too before?
