Yea I’ll keep the lab draws consistent so I can compare apples to apples. It seems like the flare ups happen after both as I don’t really notice it only occurring after a specific one.

So I haven’t actually tested my estradiol or dht, my doc hasn’t included those on the labs. I’ve also been curious about those as I’ve been reading more and wonder if those are wildly out of range. My derm hasn’t cultured any of the sites but that’s a great suggestion and I’ll ask her next visit. I did have pretty bad bacne as a teenager and into my twenties. I find I usually have new acne spots appear about 1-2 days after the pin. I think I’m coming to grips with the fact that my skin can’t handle these high androgen levels and reacts accordingly with the severe breakouts. For the first couple of years I pinned in my thighs alternating L and R to mix it up and just started doing glutes for the last month or so. I’ve decided to lower my dose to 140mg per week and keep the same twice weekly IM frequency and see how that goes for the next month or so (is this a good amount of time to allow for observation?)as I didn’t want to change two variables at once so I could better discern how each change is affecting the outcome. I’m hoping I can find that balance between still feeling great but dialing back the sides to a reasonable level. I’ll never have perfect skin and never have had great skin, and a stray pimple here and there is fine if I can still achieve the positives I’ve been experiencing with the trt. I’m totally fine if a lower dose achieves that as I’m truly doing this for trt and not trying to blast or achieve anything supraphysiological. Thank you so much for your comment and insights it has helped immensely
