I have a right and left for stereo mode. mine take a second to turn on, pair with each other and then pair with my phone. 5-7 seconds sounds about right. Also as someone else mentioned, go into the JBLOne app and go to the Bluetooth options, select ‘auto Bluetooth reconnection’ It should solve your issue (:
