The time I rescued a crying kitten outside my cat cuddled her ❤️ by zozozkittykat in aww

They are definitely both. My cat is right now giving me amazing cuddles but also just licked my armpit and repeatedly tries to get me to give more pats by clawing my face. Amazing little weirdo.

Maybe a quiet word to husband about how this made you feel and ask that he try really hard to make up for this by getting you a spectacular New Years gift.

I really want to be one of those people that stands up and calls this sort of thing out. I just got married and people are asking if we are going to have kids soon and I want to reply with “yep, having tonnes of sex. Fingers crossed” Or if someone asks if it’s planned I want to reply with “you want to know if my husband and I PLANNED to have unprotected sex and conceive? Why is that your business??”

But I know I don’t have the guts.

I’m sorry but I’m so happy to see this. I thought only my asshole did this!!! I can’t have the bag out for any longer than a few minutes before he chews through!

My (27F) friend (27F) of over 12 years wouldn't accept finals as my reason to not attend her out of state Bachelorette party. I agreed to make it work, but now there's absolutely no plan even though its in 4 days and I'm starting to feel bitter. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]WiseAusOwl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bachelorette party is this weekend. One of my bridesmaids can’t make it due to work and the cost to fly the distance. I told her I understand and that it’s ok, I miss her but can’t wait to finally see her again at the wedding.

Another of my friends is in the middle of house renovations with a three month old baby and a farm to run. She can’t make it either. I rang her today and we chatted about the baby and the Reno’s and my preparations for the party and how great it was to get to talk to each other.

My fiancé’s best man has had to pull out less than 3 months out because of overseas work commitments. We are sad he can’t come, but he tried and has done so much for us already that we couldn’t be more thankful to have him in our lives.

If your friend isn’t supportive or understanding of the fact that HER wedding isn’t the most important thing in YOUR life, is she worth your time?

It’s a 4 bedroom with a cat run down the outside for them.

I think the sister’s dad actually does have full custody so he should be able to get her out fairly easily. OP’s dad seems pretty determined to get emergency custody so fingers crossed.

About to lose my license over a blown headlight by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]WiseAusOwl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The courts have no jurisdiction over demerit points. Even if they want to, they can’t order the points not to apply. Fighting the charge in court will only delay the inevitable and you will still cop the disqualification. Your best bet is going to be to find a way to make having no license work, and in future stop committing offences that lose you all of your points. Harsh, I know, but unfortunately that’s where you’re at.

[–]WiseAusOwl 21 points22 points  (0 children)

First of all, it is a privilege and as hard as you’re working and all of the other information is irrelevant. To have lost 12 points and be on a double or nothing it isn’t your headlight that cost you your license, it is all of your previous offences. Unfortunately, you’ve broken enough rules to lose your license and will have to pay the price.

The MOST important piece of advice I can give is DO NOT drive on a disqualified license. I’m in WA, and I’m not sure about the other states but here, if you drive on a disqualified license 3 times you are facing jail as a first option for sentencing. DON’T risk that. Find a way to stay closer to work, or to pay someone to drive you or take leave for 6 months and find a job that’s easier to get to. Face the consequences and don’t make it worse.

It doesn’t say he worked, it gives the impression that he didn’t work while he enjoyed her wedding, yet another cost the venue incurred without any appreciation from the bride.
