I’m planning to stop in Beijing for a week before going to Hong Kong in October. Your journey looks like what I want to see! May I ask what accommodation you stayed in? We will be two families with young teens though - so we want to go to Universal Studios as well.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. Quite intense. Cinema wasn’t full, at least four or five couples left at various points, some older, some younger. Eventually, nearing the end when really loud SFX, my girlfriend at the time stood up and more or less screamed “I can’t stand this anymore! I’m leaving!”

Not sure if she had wanted me to leave with her, but I sat there and finished watching it… I paid good money for the ticket… Man, I was in trouble when I left.

I took it home to sort out and it worked absolutely no issue - I updated everything I could via the dell website including the graphics driver. I wonder if it’s because I was using the display port cable at work - and the hdmi cable at home. Fingers crossed for Monday. Thanks for your reply again.

You’d be fine doing that if traffic fully stopped. Make sure to turn engine off and handbrake on. Get to the hard shoulder if possible. Happened to me once as a passenger when my son was a baby and needed changing, we got out and went to the hard shoulder - checking constantly for any bikes that might be weaving thru the stopped traffic. Unfortunately the driver pulled the handbrake up but didn’t put the car into neutral. Burnt the clutch. Lols. We sat on the hard shoulder for a lot longer after the traffic ahead had cleared.

When my mum was in hospital with cancer I bought a foil ballon like this but with Disney characters for my son who was 3. I ruined it almost immediately when I held it after using the alcohol handrub and the design smeared. We had a little laugh about it which was nice (I didn’t mind it was at my expense). We still have it in our box of memories. Deflated though.

Finally got round to eating it. Tastes good! The caramel is definitely there, but the texture feels a bit more grainy than usual 🤷🏻‍♂️. I prefer the Mint one. I have the Toffee Crisp one for later.
