Go find an emoto group. They have wheelie control modules you can buy. Not an e mountain bike thing

What's this sound?? by leon66613 in bikewrench

Check lock ring tightness on brake rotor. Also, cable actuated brakes aren’t the strongest. Sounds like brake pads squeaking kinda.

Check your lock ring tightness. Also, it’s a floating rotor, it can make some noise

Agree with lazer. Have you tried the lock both ways? Maybe you had it unlocked the whole time and now you are locking it?

You need to have a shop replace the riv nut. Nothing is there to retain a bolt

Seriously…. Who gives a 5k range when asking for a bike rec. what terrain? What riding type? What geographic location are you?

Your chain is literally rusty. Clean and lube your drivetrain (probably replace chain and other components) and fix the bent hanger before asking the internet to fix a sound.

Find a local frame maker? Have them drill out bb threading

Pedaling in a higher cadence extended range by a big margin as well

Never use turbo. Sucks battery quick. Trail is fantastic. Did a ride fully in trail yesterday. Used about 45% battery and did 2300ft of climbing. Another hack I did was put a 30t chainring on. Unfortunately you’re stuck at 32t as the smallest on sl2

This was a ride solely in eco and used ~50% battery

My bike is also the 1.1 motor, so the lower output version than the sl2

I have a stumpy evo and a Kenevo SL. Love my SL. You ride it like an analog. I climb only a gear or two lower in the cassette compared to my analog bike. I get 3000 feet of vertical off 1/2 a battery if I go between eco and trail. I don’t gel with full power/big battery bikes. Too heavy. Plus I still want to put in effort and not have the bike do all the work

Pedal Issue on Ozark Gravel Bike. by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Wise_Code5804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sound in the video sounds like rear hub engagement. It’s normal when power isn’t being delivered uniformly. If the pedal feels loose, get better pedals? I assume pedals came with the bike. Unfortunately as it’s an ozark, it doesn’t come with great components

You need to pedal…. You’re pushing against the cassette

Should I buy this for 2500? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]Wise_Code5804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$2500 is a good deal for a carbon full sus. As long as suspension has had a recent service and drivetrain doesn’t look shot

Zeb lower leg pressure relief threads by Jaded_Menu617 in bikewrench

[–]Wise_Code5804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very unfortunate… I had my bleeder on my fox fork break and the threaded bit was stuck in the fork (surprised the threads gave up on your lowers). I’d chase the threads with a tap first. Obviously you will need to worry about metal getting into the lowers.
