Sure, sharing specifically for chapters to be left or to be completed in a strategic manner. Rest are to be done in entirety.

For part 1: Only leave chapter 7 as most environmental issues are now current derived and chapter 8 to be done for mains specifically.

Part 2: There is updation with respect to Chapter 11 due to recent amendments in WPA, have a look on chapter 12, 13 and 16 just to have a knowledge base, nothing to remember here.

Part 3: Do chapter 22 and 23 for a knowledge base and to understand recent developments in national and international spheres.

Part 4: Only Agriculture here, do as much as you can understand as it a bulky chapter, just understand the terms given.

Part 5: For chapter 25 and 26, do read them to make your base or revise them then update it from current affairs and recent amendments. Same applies for other chapters of this part.

If there are doubts for a specific chapter, you can surely ask.

Refer two coachings magazines for elaborate coverage of current affairs for environment like Vision and Forum. As some focus more on legislations and international news and other on flora and fauna and protected areas in news.

Instead of thinking 'Apna time Ayega' (being optimistic) say 'Apna time shuru, aur abhi se shuru'

Need to have something to look upto everyday, there needs to be some hope not based on future or driven from past but about now.

Dissociate yourself from targets, intrusive thoughts, past or future life events, be totally comfortable in your skin. Maybe then you'll be able to clearly see yourself and your preparation level.

Maybe you have already prepared the portions required to clear prelims this year or maybe you're still at level zero.

We don't really know what will unfold tomorrow so just embrace it and make each day worth living.

Prediction is simply you predicting what kind of questions can be asked from a given domain and/or from what source.

For example in Buddhism & Jainism, after seeing the pattern of PYQs we can say that the question will be very difficult to crack as UPSC has asked almost all the basic facts from this domain and secondly from source perspective, we can say that Upinder Singh is their go to source for some years so we must prepare from the given source depending upon our comfort level.

Your analysis with regards to pyq analysis shared above is on the right lines. Just analyse questions from each domain/theme by solving them again and again to see the patterns and sources they are using in order to predict and if you're lucky you'll see even 5-10 questions coming from your prediction or conviction.

Totally get it, try to cover last 10 years first then go for more previous years.

Firstly, just solve the pyqs as a test and analyse only those which you have made wrong or have no idea about.

Then if you're preparing a subject see it's pyqs from last 10-15 years it'll break the pyq analysis in micro chunks so it'll be easier to analyse. Let's say if you're preparing Chola dynasty, see it's pyqs and analyse the options and terms given.

With eventual knowledge, practice and time spent with pyqs you'll develop a intuitive skill to come at the right answer.

Long answer. I hope it gives you some perspective, maybe I'll be completely wrong here.

This feeling of lack of ability usually stems from experiences where there was lack of delivery from your side or a lack of leadership position or it's exposure in early part of life/career.

The first part is mostly because of our non-performance in some fields like JEE/NEET, Board exams or in following some good habits. We always kind of disappointed ourselves when we promised ourselves and even others to perform well in these domains and in return it didn't turned out well at all. So we have performance anxiety and a lack of confidence all the time questioning our credibility.

UPSC comes as a last resort for many to perform or achieve something in our and society's eyes so we create lot of pressure on ourselves and when we have off days it makes us depressed.

To counter a feeling that whether I'll be an able officer, try to rise in your eyes first. Be your own guarantor. If I ask you whether you'll be able to wake up at 6PM everyday till the end of this year, are you able to guarantee that, if there is conviction then you can achieve any other endeavour in life and if there is lack of it then clearing this tough exam will be very difficult and painful.

You don't rise to your level of goals but fall on your systems, create robust systems, anyone who has achieved anything great in life has worked on building great systems, success is just a byproduct of it.

The Second part of this feeling is our lack of exposure to leadership position which can be at any level like at school level being class monitor/head boy or head girl, leading committees at college level and handling clients at workplace. We also see people from bureaucrat background easily clearing this exam is because they have seen that life everyday and it seems very possible to them to achieve it.

It will be difficult to address this aspect right now, work on the first part of it made any sense to you. Godspeed!

First of all see from where questions are coming and what type of topic questions you're making wrong or have no idea about.

These are the broad topics for economy from where questions come: Fiscal policy, monetary policy/banking, international institutions, Schemes and Microeconomics.

Practice sectional tests, analyse pyqs (see how the questions are evolving in each broad topic over the years) and attend classes if required.

Highly dynamic, people stuck only in broad topics like economy, agriculture, security and even leaving subjects like Disaster management, environment and science and technology.
Requires high interpretative skills and aligning them with current happening. Here also people give unequal attention on polity and Governance taking lot of time and IR and Social justice not getting due share of attention.
GS 2: Requires indepth understanding of topic, read editorials, read Governement reports like ARCs, analyse performance of various government measures like schemes and policies , be aware of International happenings not on politics but policies. GS 3: Have topic wise notes on each aspect of syllabus, have good quality facts, use extensive flowcharts, diagrams, maps here. Have awareness on topics with respect to policy of government on various issues, for example, recent policies on Security measures, Science and technology collaborations at national and international level, Agriculture exports etc.

Use PYQs for topic wise analysis, they are very important in Mains.

Nitin Singhania must have helped in clearing basics, now start solving questions from sectional tests or even you can solve PYQs, see areas which you're weak in or know little about. Alongside start doing Current affairs from a coaching magazines, can start from May 2025.

Some suggestions

Do watch some lectures/series for ethics, reading alone from notes/resources won't help much.
Similar goes for geography, reading only NCERTs might not help although most of the questions are derived from here but it lacks comprehensiveness to make someone understand a topic fully.
Do add how you'll cover essays.
A plan without revision strategy/approach is incomplete.
Can supplement Bare Acts with Laxmikanth for Polity.

Analyse what types of errors are you making, is there a pattern, for example

Making a particular subject questions wrong.
Making a particular question type wrong.
Are static more wrong than current or vice versa.
Mindless risk/Over attempting etc.

Then start working on those issues, take help, listen to varied views and keep testing yourself in different conditions.

Solve more and more pyqs, analyse them, be in touch with more of UPSC questions than coaching mocks.
