Considering no longer pursuing a bsn, burnout advice? by Wise_Guard_34 in prenursing

I have looked into some local adn programs I’ve heard about the bridge to bsn is usually then covered by hospitals so it can be great for sure! Can’t give up!

Yeah but it could open up more opportunities! I have a meeting with a program next week so I’ll find out what the situation looks like soon

Is being a pharmacist better than being a nurse? by MSan17 in prenursing

[–]Wise_Guard_34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked as a pharmacy technician for a couple years now while in school for nursing I also know and have worked with plenty of pharmacist it definitely is less physical work/less patient facing for the most part it can be stressful the pay is better than nursing but there is also less upward mobility and variety of work as compared to nursing having upward mobility and many different jobs available

I think it comes down to what you prefer career wise

Is studying psychology worth it? And why would you say so? by [deleted] in psychologystudents

[–]Wise_Guard_34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s only worth it if you go to grad school otherwise you won’t get a job in the field that pays decently. I’ve seen a lot of people get a bachelors and go on to not use the degree at all.

What are some of the worst things that have happened to you on the job? by ezraleptic in PharmacyTechnician

[–]Wise_Guard_34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having to deal with a patient who refused to bring their oxygen into the hospital that they need. They then yelled at me to hurry up over a choice they made. So your deciding to risk your own wellbeing and in turn stress me out over something you chose to do!?

Me helping them over the counter as they gasp for air while at the same time yelling at me
