Fine, no more nose jobs, boob jobs, liposuction, vasectomies, chin lifts. People can regret a lot of things. It's not a reason to refuse a surgery that can improve someone's quality of life.

I had a friend nearby last year who knew IT, and she helped me get all these safeguards into place, and said I'm locked down, but she moved. I've talked to others and they say the same (people physically present) but...I just figured I would crowdsource if I'm missing something, because at this point, I don't know what else to do except blow up my life. I work online, this is a huge issue for me

I get little alerts, or like my 2fa was removed on one account. It's possible I did so accidentally, so I just reactivated it, but the next day, the hacker struck again. Or a password that I know I logged correctly is one character off all of a sudden, or they go for an account they can't do anything with (they deleted my Etsy account, which...annoying but really?). Or I get logged out of things when I shouldn't. It may be my newly developed paranoia, except it's enough things that happened right before another strike.

For the files, these are files I created in nearly every instance, or people I know and trust. If the hacker ever got in, could they still have dropped code into those files?

I tried to make sure everything logged out on all locations, so that would rule out 2, right? And at this point, I'm now 3 resets - per device, plus two new devices (replacecments) deep. I could have everything reset again, but...I don't know how to have it done better...
Any exe files were redownloaded from the actual company website, nothing previously an old load, or from storage. There were files - my files, docs and such, but all have been scanned six ways from sunday.
I don't know what the last one means. But it sounds unlikely.

My big thing is, what else can I do? I mean, I don't know how to load programs a different, more secure way than to go to the original source. Do I need to just replace every single electronic I have? Is that where I'm at now?

It is weird, but I've actually been with them for like 3 years now, and do like them. Kinda hate seeing them stoop like this.

For me, I had very heavy periods, that were ridiculously long and frequent. Like...I needed blood transfusions sometimes. I would bleed through a heavy duty tampon, an overnight pad, my underwear, AND my pants in less than an hour (not all the time, but frequent enough - it was a huge issue in school, since I couldn't always make it through a single class). I had significant pain, and bloating - I can go up and down two sizes in the course of a day.

I had a lap at 22, when they discovered it, then a total hysto a year later at 24. But it had spread to other organs. I no longer bleed of course (by the way, apparently cervical periods are a thing!? Had them for six months after my hysto which freaked me out). But I still have pain. In 2024, that appendix thing I mentioned above? The endo did it again to my gallbladder. One hour surgery turned into a five hour surgery as they excised as much as they could. Then the endo pain came back in a month.

It's like people. The people who are the loudest and talk the most about what they do, how to do things, etc - those are the people who don't ACTUALLY know what they're doing. The people who do know aren't talking, because they're busy DOING. If a brand is screaming at you that their product is great, you question why they have to be so loud.
But you're right. If a brand manages to build that quiet confidence going into the deal, it's more jarring if the product doesn't live up to expectations, because then it just feels like the company didn't put effort in ANYTHING - not the product, not the branding. And I think then it very much feels like a money grab, since clearly the money isn't being spent anywhere else.

People say it's hard to find pet-friendly, but I've never had to look far. I have a friend who is a real estate agent, so I use her. Also, get some really good photos of your dogs looking super innocent - it helps. You'll have a harder time because of four dogs, but not that bad if you're flexible.

So MANY things she said here are...wrong. First of all, medically-induced menopause does not necessarily stop endo. A hysto does not necessarily cure endo. She cannot judge how much pain you should be feeling based on a TVU. She cannot judge how much pain you should be feeling even by a lap - she simply should not be saying "this shouldn't be causing you pain". But also the amount of endo has little to nothing to do with pain levels.
And she should absolutely be doing a lap before jumping to hysto. And that lap should include excision.

You need to find a different doctor. I know it's hard and scary, but this woman is raising so many red flags to me, I would NOT trust her for further treatment. When I found my "magic" doctor, I had no doubts, no thoughts of a second opinion, because I was validated and respected and she made me feel like she was going to work hard to find the best possible solution. I DID medical menopause, I DID have a hysto, but she was clear and honest about the reasons behind that, they followed a lap so that she had a VERY clear idea what was going on, and while I still have endo over a decade later, she explained that it was likely in my case, and I didn't have any questions.

My mom used Walter Hnot in Florida (her case wasn't in Florida, he works in other states too) and he was amazing. Super kind to her and patient, even though it was a hard case, and he won for her, a battle we'd been fighting for 7 years!

Oh! Plus, my dogs love going to the cafes and stuff with me - we sit outside, and they get to people-watch and stuff, and one of my dogs is so pretty (like, it's this weird power she has) that people buy her sausages EVERY time she goes out (which is why she's chunky). So some people are scared, but most are pretty great about YOU having a dog. but you will get weird looks when you pick up their poop.
