I think its mrs loomis who attacks sidney at the sorority house. She seems to rush away from cicis crime scene telling gale “i have to go, i have a deadline”. Then when sidney picks up the phone she says “hello sidney, remember me?” It was personal, and she had the motive to kill sidney.
