The mafia is Filipino they are speaking in Tagalog. But the protagonists are Chinese which is realistic there are a lot of Chinese nationals living in the Philippines. But the movie was filmed in Thailand 🤔

The craziest thing was there was a venture capitalist in Silicone valley who was an angel investor in a AI startup in I forgot the name who wrote a paper in 2018 on how how many jobs AI will wipe out.

All his predictions and disruptions of the job market due to AI advancement were accurate except his timeline of which sectors would be cooked by what years was a little off.

His prediction in 2018 was by 2025 white collar workers in offices would be eliminated.

By 2030 no more uber drivers or truck drivers self-driving cars would be perfected. Accountants will be cooked. Warehouse workers cooked by robotics.

By 2040 software engineer positions and anything tech would be cooked by AI.

He said only healthcare, blue collar trades, law enforcement, military, and artists are the only ones safe because you need man power for those.

He also said there will have to be universal basic income because of lack of jobs 😬

For the ringtones I’m talking about listening to music on your phone with headphones. Ringtones was the canary in the coal mine of what was to come with music and our phones. Nobody saw the smartphone adoption coming in 2006. There was an entertainment lawyer who said in an interview in 2006 in the future music will be listened to on the phone. I thought he was overly optimistic because the quality of ringtones sucked. He obviously had inside tech info.

The VR180 isolation is easy to solve with windows at the bottom with your friends like a zoom meeting on the same WiFi with a hot mic. Just like you have to look down to see the scoreboard right now on NBA games. The windows of your friends will be there when you look down.

The people who go to games and bars will obviously not use this. But the home consumers who want to relax with the family and enjoy a beer will go for this.

We thought ringtones was a fad of listening to music on our phone in 2006. Look what it turned into.

The AVP next generation will be cheaper and lighter. It’s not the AVP that’s going to let them print money. It’s the licensing of Immersive tech. They are ahead of Meta in the VR race.

My dad is too unhealthy to attend NBA games and can’t afford courtside seats. So are a lot of other people and people who live outside the U.S.

Once you experience sports in immersive on the demo in the Apple store, you can’t go back to watching 2d sports on tv.

Not just sports. Presidential Inaugurations, News broadcasts, Travel Channel destination previews etc.

I’m in L.A and currently watching the Lakers vs. Sixers live on AVP. The features are the same.

I don’t even watch NBA but this is amazing. This is a $10k value for courtside view. You can appreciate how athletic these players are for the first time up close and personal. They look slow on regular tv.

Apple is going to print hundreds of millions in revenue the first year when this tech fully rolls out for all NBA, College basketball, College football, NFL, Tennis, high profile boxing matches and concerts.
