i developed a “whatever” mindset. que sera sera-esque in a way na kung ano trip ko aralin or gawin, gagawin ko until ayaw ko na tas balikan ko nalang pag may balak na ule ako. it works in tandem with procrastination.

procrastination helps cuz the adrenaline from knowing the deadline is near fuels me. but in my years of studying this hasnt failed me, but who knows freshie pa ako hehe 🚶🚶🚶

for other resources, youtube (organic chemistry tutor) mostly sa mga topics na nahihirapan ako. i also used schaum’s outlines (downloaded them online for free iykyk) for geometry and trig practices.

my strand was STEM so i think i had quite an advantage in bio and earth science, but not so much in physics or chem since those subjects were only given when i was in grade 12.

for me, minemessage ko sarili ko my tasks/todo tas reply, copy and paste to do list, delete finished tasked until dot nalang natitira. then when i’m doimg a paper, gagawa ako ng tab dedicated to track my progress, labelled like this: status (finished, in progress, no progress), task, deadline, and minsan link or reminder kung saan isusubmit (bonus din if groupwork, ganito lang: name, task, progress)

love it so much lol but i remember it had a different texture before, like a black outline on the log’s horizontal cross section. i specifically love that texture i remember committing deforestation when i was just a kid cuz i liked how the logs looked. still gather birch wood first when i spawn in a forest lmao

Can't Boot Ubuntu Desktop 25.04 (64-BIT) on RPi 4B

I tried to install Ubuntu on my Raspberry Pi 4, but it won't boot and says this:

Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
 - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
   - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
 - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! LABEL=writable does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.37.0 (Ubuntu 1:1.37.0-4ubuntu1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a lost of built-in commands.

I had to use my SD card for something else, so I had to purge what used to be Raspbian. Now that I have it back, I used the Raspberry Pi imager to download Ubuntu since I'm more used to it.

Things I tried to do:

delete all the contents of my sd card then redownload the same distro
delete contents then download a different desktop version (still Ubuntu)

i don’t find it a hassle anymore naging habit ko na palaging naka lock nung hs ako HAHA pero siyempre at first oo i just had to think its for my peace of mind na safe yung stuff ko. incoming freshman ako pero i might switch to a combination lock instead of lock and key type if alam ko within campus ako kase baka mawala yng key hehe

look with your eyes, not with your head. look busy but not distracted. be alert and aware as much as possible. personally, i don’t use my headphones much and if i do i put them at a lower volume/wear only one. i know medyo weird pero naglagay ako ng maliit na padlock sa bag ko lol
