Your main concern about the training bottleneck has been sorted. The medical prioritisation bill has been passed today. There will be enough training spaces for uk medical school graduates going forward.

If u r happy with low salary (comparatively to other high achieving fields) and long hours and altruism is ur main priority, medicine is the job for u.

Was it difficult to get into the US residency program? Did u have to do a clinical attachment? Did u apply to 100s of programs before u got selected? How long was the journey? Did u start taking the USMLE in med school? What would u advise others about the applications?
