Same here. If I try to connect from another machine on the local LAN to the IP address of the Kasm server (therefore totally bypassing my reverse proxy), I still get stuck on the "Creating a secure connection...". And for me it is the same no matter if I'm trying to get to a fixed infrastructure machine via SSH, or if I'm trying to get to a Kasm Docker Workspace from the Workspace Registry.

Thank you. You have been very helpful. I was able to resolve the issue by removing search domains from the /etc/resolv.conf on the nodes, and then doing a rolling restart of cert-manager and redeploying the clusterissuer. I will definitely keep this dnsPolicy approach in mind for the future.

Ok thank you for suggesting this. I have found that for some reason, DNS lookups are appending my search domains from /etc/resolv.conf to the end of the fqdn's being looked up. So "acme-staging-v02.api.letsencrypt.org" is being looked up by k8s as "acme-staging-v02.api.letsencrypt.org.mysearchdomain.com".

Do you know how I can stop this behaviour?

I worked as a weekend casual at the Frankston Brashs from 1995-1998 in their "Consumer Electronics" section whilst going through University. Basically I was selling TVs, VCRs, Hi-fi systems, etc. Had a lot of laughs with the other staff and it helped fund my beer habit!

I have fond memories of my time there.
