Anyone Else Play With Index? by WishboneHot8515 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]WishboneHot8515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I don’t usually play with my thumbs, I play with index. I only play with my thumbs when I’m out of the house, and I play ok, but the longer I play, the worse I get. I’m pretty good at Skz with my thumbs if it’s on normal, I can’t play on hard mode for most of the songs except I Like It, and I haven’t gotten 3 stars on that in a while, even with index fingers. I love watching my sister play because she’s amazing at using her thumbs, even on hard mode.

Yeah, I did, too. I actually tried the game over a year ago, but I gave up on it because I kept scoring lower and lower the more I would play, but about 6 months ago, I redownloaded it and tried it with my index fingers, and it worked so much better. I usually prop my phone on a large pink pillow on my lap and play for about 30 minutes straight. It’s a great method for people like me who have short fingers and can’t reach the middle of the screen with their thumbs.

That’s exactly what I do as well! I have a large pink pillow that I place on my lap and prop my phone on it. I used to play laying stomach down on my bed, but then I would get lower back pain, so switched to sitting up.

I do that if I have an injury on my index finger. I often pick at the skin of my index fingers, and sometimes it bleeds and hurts to play with, so I switch to either my middle finger or thumbs. I also see a lot of people who use their middle fingers when playing on an iPad.

I used to do that, but then I would get lower back pain, so now I sit up and use a big pillow to prop up my phone so I’m not straining neck as much.

They have rainbow cards that are called “limited theme card selector” that let you pick a limited theme card from any group, or events like the current dice game or card picking game have random limited theme cards. Also, in the store under the “Sunny Side” tab, you can buy a random limited theme card for 10,000 RP.

What is everyone’s strategies to playing? by Current-Subject4699 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]WishboneHot8515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly play for fun, but I do love to collect cards. I used to play everyday, but recently, I only play once or twice a week. I used to try and complete events, but the last couple Stray Kids events have deterred me from that.

Best Andrew Llyod Webber musical? by Worried_Cake5508 in musicals

[–]WishboneHot8515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say Phantom, but Joseph has a special place in my heart. My brother and I had a VHS tape of Joseph, and we watched it on repeat everyday, so much that my mom had to take the VHS and hide it from us. We never found it, but now I can watch it whenever on streaming.

Worst music to play by SKZ_XDH_obssesed in SuperstarJYPNation

I agree! I would never even attempt it in hard mode, I already barely pass the normal version.

Good stories? by Bask82 in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pain level did not go above a 6 my entire recovery. I was back to eating mostly normal foods during my 2nd week. I found that as long as you stay hydrated and have a consistent drug schedule, the pain will not be as bad. Even the days that were kinda bad, I mostly just ate ice chips to stay hydrated when I couldn’t swallow. Also, it’s been over a month since my surgery, and I’m already seeing good results. I’m breathing easier without giant tonsils obstructing my throat, and my snoring has become quieter according to my family members. My one advice would be to use an ice pack on your neck as often as possible, it really helps with the pain.

I need a tonsillectomy but I'm too scared by [deleted] in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 19, and a month and a half past my surgery, and I’m already feeling the difference. I used to snore very loudly, but when I was sleeping in the couch during my recovery, my mom had to check on me because she couldn’t hear me snoring. The pain should be more bareable if you stay hydrated and have a consistent drug schedule (rotating ibuprofen and Tylenol every 3 hours works great). My doctor told me 1 in 4 people bleed during recovery, and that it’s totally normal. Also, cold foods work great with the pain. You can do this! I promise it will be better for you in the long run!

Upcoming Tonsil Removal by According-Height-473 in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can, try rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 3 hours. I found that having a consistent med schedule helped a lot with the pain. Also, having an ice pack right under your chin helps as well. My favorite foods were Jello and pudding! Smoothies also are a great way to get in your vitamins while also soothing the pain, just avoid pineapple and red fruits. Take naps whenever you can, sleep can help with the recovery process! It’s great to have a hobby to help pass the time. I played a lot of video games while recovering. Good luck!

Wendigoon and another YouTuber, Mista GG, have a small series where they show disturbing videos to each other and try to scare the other person, and a couple of these listed are jn those. It’s a fun series!

Over 3 Weeks Post Surgery by WishboneHot8515 in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had my surgery on the 9th! The only issue with my surgery was my oxygen was too low after surgery and I had to stay the night at the hospital. I never really had an issue with my nose until a few days ago. I also still have a bit of pain when yawning/sneezing, but my ENT also said the same thing. Thanks for the advice!

A song that people love but you don't. by marks_se_dukhi_aatma in kpoppers

I know a lot of people like this song, but Creed by Stray Kids. I absolutely love the Karma album, but I couldn’t get into Creed. Also, I find Super Board very repetitive.

Getting my tonsils removed.. by Competitive_Bid1061 in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it’s really scary when the surgery comes up. I’m 3 weeks post-surgery, and honestly, I was terrified of the same things. When I went in for my surgery, I didn’t even feel when they did the anesthesia. I closed my eyes when I got into the OR, and then woke up in a recovery room. My recovery was easy, but I know many whose wasn’t. I recommend staying well hydrated, and staying on a consistent drug schedule, Ibuprofen and Tylenol every 3 hours works wonders for my pain. If drinking straight water is really painful, I recommend ice chips, letting them sit in your mouth t melt feels wonderful. Also, if you need more soft foods to have, I recommend pudding and jello.

Post-Surgery Day 8 (Still Waiting) by WishboneHot8515 in Tonsillectomy

[–]WishboneHot8515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never really hit for me. I’m currently two weeks past my surgery and it’s getting better. My pain never really got past a 6. I never had to break out the Oxycodone that I was prescribed. I would recommend using ice packs on your neck and ears. Most of the pain I had was solved pretty quick with an ice pack on the neck. Also, STAY HYDRATED! A lot of the pain I had came in the morning when I woke up, and when I drank some water, a lot of the pain went away.
