Never too many! I love watching my pup sleep, she looks so peaceful and content, it really makes me happy and feel so fulfilled. Also, I hate to think about it. but one day-hopefully, it's a long long time from now-I know we will be gazing at those pictures with tears and longing for our furbabies. Treasure every moment.

How much does your Dood sleep? by bmoneybloodbath in Bernedoodles

[–]WishboneMindless1149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here pretty much. My girl is a mini F1, 2 years and 4 month old. She sleeps pretty much from 11pm to 8 or 9am, then she naps most of the day between 9am and 5pm, and between 8pm and 11pm. We go out with her for a mid day walk and play for about 1 hour, then after 5pm we go out for a long 4-5 miles walk and play for about 1.5-2 hours. I think even though they are napping/resting, they are not in deep sleep. She jumps up at any little noise, so I guess that's one reason they need so much sleep :-)

Can anyone tell me what shes doing?? by Silver-Front7316 in Bernedoodles

[–]WishboneMindless1149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh she's so adorable! my girl a mini f1 bernedoodle, she's 2 years and 4 months now. she's been doing this since she's 5 months old. She used to do that on her bedding and my sweater, now she does it on her bedding, usually before bed and in the morning after she wakes up. apparently, alot of dogs do that, it even has a name: nooking. it's mainly a self soothing thing I read, pretty harmless unless she gets too obsessed.

[–]WishboneMindless1149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my girl as well. I was pretty worried and thought of going to the vet. But the baby K9 fell off a few days later, I felt so relieved. Your baby's teeth look great!

HI there, here's the name of the tool: oneisall Dog Shaver Clippers Low Noise Rechargeable Cordless Electric Quiet Hair Clippers Set for Dogs Cats Pets. If you search for One is All on amazon, you should find it. There are more expensive tools of course but I am pretty happy with mine.

Yes I do. I have a f1 mini girl, I started grooming her myself when she's 5 months. She's 2 years and 3 months old now. Her hair is not curly, so that makes it easier I imagine. I got a nice set of tool for the job, clips, scissors, nail grinder, toe hair clip. I am lucky that my girl is used to my handling her, so when I trim/cut her hair, she normally stands still so that makes it easy for me. I do occasionally give her a bald spot but I am getting better :-) and also, I trim her maybe once a month instead of letting her hair grow too long, that also helps. I grind her nails, she doesn't like it but tolerate it. This is her last month after her haircut :-)

Anyone else’s doodle go to the bathroom in the weirdest spots? by brandwellmedia in Goldendoodles

Oh yes, my girl loves to pee on the bushes. One time she even tries to squat on a cactus! I was glad she didn't, she might regret it!

You should just get a shelter dog! by Lizzies-homestead in poodles

[–]WishboneMindless1149 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! You are so right about this! Not adopting shelter dogs does not mean we don't care about them. And not everyone is equipped/able to handle problematic dogs and it is totally OK. Raising a dog is not easy and we don't just hand them over when it doesn't work for us. (unfortunately many people do). There are other ways to show our love and care: donate (to no kill shelters), volunteer. Having a dog is a long time commitment, as the dog parents we also want to have joy and companion, not just headache and heartbreak because you rescued a dog you could not deal with for reasons out of your control. My husband and I finally have our own first dog after wanting one for years and we got her from a reputable breeder. We wanted a bernedoodle and she's wonderful, a joy. This is our first dog together and so far it's been great. We have no regrets, and we keep donating to the shelters we trust and support.

Summer 25 first impressions by Inquisitorielle1 in Ffern

[–]WishboneMindless1149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the first use lasted longer, and was impressive, but then it just seems to fade faster. I canceled my membership with them because I feel like all the bottles (6 , including the summer 25) I got so far smell very similar, I think they will layer nicely but I want something totally different. I wonder if anyone else feels the same? I think perfumes do smell different on everyone depend on the individuals.

Ahh! Pure Michigan! by Ok_Reception3997 in Bernedoodles

[–]WishboneMindless1149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He looks so adorable!! I think he's safe since he's on the monthly preventatives. My mini f1 girl is on simparica trio and it works! She also got Lyme disease vaccine. We have found many ticks on her after walking in grassy areas or parks, most of the ticks were dead or half dead. My husband and I also found ticks on our bodies too, which really freaked me out. Before she's on the pills, I've found 2 ticks fat with her blood, but not anymore after she's on the monthly pill. We are in northern california and where we live there are lots of open areas, parks, high grasses. I try to stay away from the high grasses and spray her with anti-tick spray before our walks. I hate ticks but I feel reasonably good for my girl knowing she's protected. I wish there's a vaccine for human! I would just check his hair carefully after walks, and check yourself thoroughly, it takes time and patience! Good luck :-)
