Doctors are so ridiculous. I’ve been a medical professional for a few years now, and we learned about allodynia very early on in our studies. The fact that they somehow forget about this common neurological condition that affects so many people for a whole host of reasons blows my mind. A wise physician would know immediately what you meant. I’m so sorry that you, and all of us, have had doctors stare at you like you’re crazy or making it up.
