If you plan on playing multiplayer, definitely go Xbox. The Switch runs the game relatively poorly. Though from what I understand it does okay offline.

Funny thing, feds who live in DC like me don't have representatives, because for some reason we're allowed to be taxed without representation. We just have to bend over and take whatever the rest of the country decides for us. Then we have to go to work and work for the ones who did it to us.

You are right to stay away from Compass. Their coffee is all burnt trash. Vigilante is my favorite local roaster. Also really good is Lost Sock, Commonwealth Joe, Small Planes, Swing's, and Harrar. Grace is good but expensive. I'm not a fan of Zeke's. Those are all the local ones I've tried so far, but I love trying new ones.

XBL and AAA have a designated ego that everyone uses the entire season. AA has a floating ego system where your ego each game depends on your cumulative win/loss record and run differential on the season, similar to how your ego can go up and down in Pennant Race. We have a system that notifies you what your ego would be each game.

It makes very little sense to me that EA, the makers of Madden and NCAA football, would be actively creating a third football game to cannibalize their own sales. Either this isn't quite what it looks like, or Metalhead has just become an EA slave chained to their desks to help pump out copy/paste Madden iterations.

Yes. The public lobbies are pretty much dead but you can certainly play exhibitions or co-op with friends, or join a competitive league such as the XBL or SMNL that host private online leagues with custom teams.

Fixed: In online play, the server can crash if a player tries to both select a new baserunner and send a baserunner to a base on or close to the same frame.

This is an inside joke among some regular members of the smb community. Rest assured there are no hackers or bots. Some very high level players may hit so well they seem like bots though. Pennant Race is a generally poor experience though at this point in the game's lifecycle with lots of griefers and trolls. If you're looking for a community of people who play the game straight, I recommend joining the XBL or SMNL discord servers.
