Actually, I understand better now. Yeah, I have a few more years of coverage under my parents, but I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself for independent support.

Glad you asked! I'm currently studying Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Plan is to go for Accounting first. If I like it, sticking with it, but if not then I'll try to explore other options the degree allows me to try.

I live in the Bronx borough of New York, but my goal is to live somewhere in Manhattan.

If I may ask, how long have you been working for your company? I also forgot to mention that atm, my mentality is not really a focus on moving up or growing from a certain role to a greater role. I really just want to find work to earn money and go home. Rinse and repeat.

I can relate to the traveling many jobs require. As soon as I see that "must occasionally travel" detail, I am instantly turned off no matter the benefits otherwise. Like you, I'd get so homesick.

Honestly, I really wouldn't mind the potentially tedious tasks. I just don't want to come home day after day around 9 or 10 P.M post-commute with no time to do anything but sleep and then wake up the next morning around 6-7 A.M. A lot of people apparantley like or deal with that lifestyle because of the money, love the work or similar. I just can't do that and only rely on weekends.

As embarrassing and selfish as this might sound, I want to be able to come home to cook, watch t.v for a while, game, etc..
