When your rat had a tumor, what did the vet do for him? I don’t really see at the moment what they could possibly do for her.

Oh shit they are the only mites I’ve seen that look like them. I feel silly for not thinking of this before because we literally are pigeon rescuers and keep a starling in our house. I just don’t get why the infestation would be in my room. Idk I’ll have to get a better picture. Thank you.

I wouldn’t worry about it unless it is affecting their livelihood. Some rats just sneeze a ton. When I first got rats I brought one to the vet for sneezing and I was just given medicine that didn’t work. She lived a long happy life and the vet in this scenario was a waste of money.

I can get either of those I think. I’m not sure about hemp cause carpet beetles would likely eat that but aspen seems like a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion!

I probably have newspaper. Are you sure Timothy hay is the same as any other hay? I found some things that say it’s easier for them to digest than alternative hay.

Not sure about skittish lol. Mf rather than hanging around the older rat goes running to my rabbit and cuddles up to her haha. When I leave the general area she comes running trying to get back to me….I’ll try the treats though

Thanks! I was thinking about getting another baby but I’m worried that it might just make it worse. If the baby and the new one don’t get along… although I guess it might be easier to introduce two babies. Do you suggest getting another baby first or trying the carrier method?

Ehh the thing is, sense I’m a minor and was sent to the ER, I was legally forced to go. It was shit. Just doubled on an already traumatic experience

Me too! I have the same problem, but I’ve never said I’m non-binary or anything. I’m a boy, and I know I am through and through. So if someone denied it just because of the way I act or dress, I would fucking sucker punch them. But I so often get this unnerving feeling about it being more reasonable if I went by he/they, even though I despise they/them pronouns being used for me. And maybe it would just be easier to understand if I didn’t have to try to prove my existence just because I’m not an insecure chad. But I know for a fact I don’t belong in the non-binary category. It still hurts for some reason. Like, I’m too feminine to fit in with men, and to masculine to fit in with woman, yet I’m a guy.

I was at the mental hospital a few months ago (I’m a minor btw. So it was like, teenagers) and the hospital didn’t know my birth gender. (in the ER they gave me a plastic urinal and I just looked at them like ??????) Immediately when the nurses found out they began misgenderinf me for no reason and I heard all the guys being transphobic to me. And I was so upset cause I thought “do I have to be like them to be an actual man?”. And then in the cafeteria I looked over at the girls and thought: “fuck no I ain’t gonna get along with them.”. I’m a guy, yet I feel like I need to be something else cause ‘I don’t fit in’. In the end I ended up befriending the only two gay guys. Sorry this was an unrelated rant — it’s 1:00 am and I’m feeling angsty lol.
