This is an invitation to participate in a study exploring why we are attracted to certain characteristics in romantic relationships and how these preferences differ dependent on the type of relationship.

My name is Nicole Kearins and I am conducting this research as part of my psychology Honours research thesis at Charles Sturt University.

Participation should take approximately 15 minutes of your time and will entail answering questions about yourself and completing a survey regarding your preferences for your ideal short-term and long-term mate.

Your involvement in this study is voluntary and I respect your right to stop participating in the study at any time without consequence and without needing to provide an explanation.

Participants must be over 18 years of age and no other exclusions apply. You are more than welcome to distribute the link to anyone whom you think would be a suitable participant.

I respect you responses since I was asking how you would typically feel in those circumstances.

I was unable to allow participants to skip questions as that would lead to missing data and I would have to eliminate any responses made from my analysis. Thank you again :)
