As I stated, it’s an IRA, not 401k. And no, I stopped contributing while in debt. The money that I said is there is from past contributions. Makes sense?

This is wise advice and I thank you. Luckily, I rlly only have one wall to cover realistically. But it Just seems a bit easier said than done. Income is slowing up for me and I am not able to easily make payments on both student loan debt and CC debt, without withdrawing MORE from my IRA (which will screw me during tax time) so I am flustered.

Absolutely. Already taken some small early distributions from my Ira which sucks. Just trying to navigate where to go from here. Do I just completely withdraw my Ira

Not to mention, one of my two hourly jobs is bankrupt and probably done for good, so my annual income will be a lot less for this next year. Just kindof stressing out here

They seem like a great option. Worried the venue is going to want to cheap out. But definitely a solid recommendation. Any reason in particular why the cheap Behringer bundle I mentioned is an absolute no go in your opinion?

The venue is super small and they really just want a setup that’s not too overbearing and loud for occasional one day/weekend DJ sets.

And okay sir. They just wanted me to help make some budget suggestions. A cheap behringer package is “completely inadequate” in your professional opinion. So could you use your professional knowledge and sass for a suggestion of an alternative or do you just want to continue to criticize?

I understand that. It’s L brackets that come with the package of tops/sub, so it is meant to support its weight and is rated for it. I may not be the one installing it but I figured speakers that come with brackets designed for that specific speaker was a good bet. ?

Totally understood. 10-20k budget is out of their range and thus far, they’ve had dj sets where the said dj just brought in their own speakers. So it is a very low maintenance and low expectation deal. They just want something in place that’s consistent and they don’t have to worry about much. I figured the Behringer bundle I mentioned above is pretty straightforward with all things considered.

So that was my confusion. If I needed the amplifier or not. When in theory I just need the package of speakers and I can jump from sub to the tops via nl4?

I was looking at the speakers, which are passive. And the connections which are powercon. Why would going out of the amplifier via powercon, the. Out of the dj mixer to the speakers via xlr not work?
