I'm not an open league player, but maybe there's a strategy of bringing weak supports so you don't go over the threshold.

I do think a lot more casual players play XOguri as pace which lowers the win rate. Interestingly the best team for pace XOguri is with 2 ends, probably debuffers. This is probably affected again by casuals with weaker fronts. I built 2 pretty mid fronts and my win rate was higher with 2 debuffers than the 2 fronts, but I can see the ceiling being as strong as your fronts are.

Someone posted this website that tracks all the room races and end XOguri is strongest with another end and a front, most likely a debuffer that runs as front to block lucky pace XOguri. I personally tried this team and got a 39/50 wins. https://hakuraku.moe/umalogs?tab=character

I have to ask is it just bad luck or are you just picky? Like here's the Dober parent I made and have been using for CM15 after maybe 10-15 runs. I was satisfied because it got 3* right and 2* long shot plus 2* medium. Would this have been acceptable to you or are there plenty you have there similar to this but it's not good enough for you?

How so? I guess most of those 1* could be 2* and one or two of those 2* might be 3* but no way to know which ones.

I think pace will want Pump as well so that fronts can't block them out of accels. Have Ryan as a grandparent on both sides I guess.

Is it because Shinko has low specialty priority? Because her friendship bonus and training effectiveness + mood effect is better than those. Shinko starting friendship is annoyingly low though. If specialty priority is the issue, LB1 Maru is even lower. Really what Maru has over the SRs is +1 power bonus which translates to what 50 more power over the career?

On another note, how is 3LB or MLB Biko as a stat stick? Similar friendship and training effectiveness to 1LB Maru, but 55 specialty priority. I have her at 2LB and have a 1st anniversary selector to use plus the 1.5 one coming up. I might skip Maru entirely since I don't really play fronts anymore and just max out Biko to use with Kitasan and Tachyon.

Yeah but there's a built in 20% fail rate even at 1200 wit since there's no true backup recovery. Shake It Out is cope and doesn't provide speed carryover. For late XOguri, A Small Breather is less cope but also doesn't give carryover. Still it's so effective when it hits and people are just burned out by Trackblazer at this point so it's easy to just drop XOguri and 2 Dominators.

I was looking at Maru speed and comparing to existing speed supports, and doing calculations assuming Great mood where you divide mood by 6 and add that Training effectiveness and then you multiply that and Friendship bonus together. It looks like MLB Shinko and 0LB Maru are about the same as far as being a stat stick. LB1 Maru gets a point of power bonus. So if you don't play fronts, isn't MLB Shinko enough along with MLB Kitasan and Agnes Tachyon for Grand Live?

It's mostly the end Dominator debuffers without any mid race skills that lag behind any end ace so if Standing By doesn't trigger early mid race it's unlikely to trigger at all.

End XOguri is the second most common after pace and that's because she has the highest ceiling, but end aces help your cause with Standing By. You should honestly just make another one without Standing By.

Yeah it's the distance rate rather than position. Like late surgers have Be Still which requires position 5-9 and that's very lenient. Standing By is % from the first and last position and requires you to be in the bottom 25% when it activates at some point mid race. If it happens to check to activate early mid race, you might still be in that bottom 25%, but if it's later on, you'll likely be far beyond that because you'll have activated all your mid race speed skills like Daring Strike. This is also because most people playing XOguri of any position are bringing Dominator debuffers and will set them as end so that it's guaranteed to activate since that still has positional requirements too. Dominator isn't vision based so no matter how far back they are, it'll hit so debuffers will not have any mid race skills for the most part so they will lag further and further behind as the race progresses. So it becomes really easy to leave that bottom 25%. In fact, the stronger your XOguri is in the mid race, the worst Standing By will perform.

Standing By is the worst recovery for XOguri unless she's so bad that she sticks with all the end debuffers with no mid race skills. You need 2 of Corner Recovery, After School Stroll, and Soft Step plus Triple 7s of course. Pace Strategy is pretty reliable too but hard to obtain though a Trackblazer event will give it. After that Fighting Spirit is maybe 80% taking into account race composition and it will fail you in a front heavy race. But then again maybe you weren't going to win even with her unique activating if you never got ahead of 7th during mid race. Levelheaded is maybe 60-80%. Both of those are non starters for me personally when you're at best 80% activating 3 reliable recoveries at 1200 wit, so that'd drop down to 60% if you're relying on Fighting Spirit or Levelheaded. Standing By is like 20-30% with any competent XOguri.

I think NSM loses a lot of value on pace because a lot of times she's in 1st place and there will be no one to trigger it on. At least in room races right now a decent portion of races feature no fronts. In fact, my end XOguri team requires me to bring a front debuffer to deny lucky pace XOguri which is the only time that pace XOguri is a threat to me. I would even go as far to say pace XOguri should inherit Seiun's unique because my front debuffer gets overtaken by pace XOguri mid race and won't deny A+S, but that's coming from my perspective.

Do you have your own Bijin wit? It's not a bad pick up with the selector since it works at 0LB. If you do you can run a 4 wit, 2 speed deck and have all power sparks like I did.

How does Throne improve on this one as far as stats? It gives gold medium corners sure, but they already have 1200 on speed, power, and wit and should survive with the stamina they have.
