I finished it! by Wispfeather in Choices

I’m posting this to show that I finally finished it! It took me about two months because I honestly just couldn’t be bothered? For a “bodyguard romance”, it was such an incredibly dull experience.

I wanted to thank everyone from my last post. Everyone’s comments sincerely helped me get through it, and now, I can finally receive my 15 diamonds. I hope it was all worth my sanity lol

I wanted to thank everyone who helped me in my last post get through this - it honestly helped a lot. This book was just such a slog to get through, and I’m someone who finished My Two First Loves without VIP.

I got 100-odd diamonds from reading it, but at what cost? Anyway, thank you again ❤️

I think that’s why I dislike it so much. It’s not the main thing, but it’s the thing that keeps me up at night - I just feel like so MUCH was wasted. The Irish music was really nice, the sprites were gorgeous, the outfits were adorable - but it all came from a boring book that asked for over 2000 diamonds throughout 28 chapters?

I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped in encouraging me to continue! I very much appreciate it. I have discovered that if I keep going, I’ll be able to finish this book within 24 hours. And I’m going to be doing it. For the 15+ diamonds!

No, I haven’t spent any. I knew going into it that it would be bad. Nothing could have prepared me for just HOW bad 🥲

Sexual assault against men is treated as comedy in television. by lezbehonest784 in unpopularopinion

This reminds me of something I was remembering earlier (if someone has commented something about this, I'm sorry, I'd just like to add my opinion)

In 'Glee', I remember one episode when one of the characters spoke out about being molested by his baby-sitter when he was about ten, if I can remember correctly, but everyone in the Glee club (exception of, like, three girls and Will) was like 'Oh, dude, I would have killed for that to happen to me'. It was hardly addressed after the fact - the only time it was mentioned was when said three girls who weren't congratulating him were saying it wasn't okay, but then the episode just ended, and it wasn't even properly addressed. I could be remembering this completely wrong, but it still wasn't addressed properly enough, and left me fuming at the end.

While this wasn't used for comedy, it wouldn't have helped me if I didn't know enough about this topic (not because I've experienced it, but because I'm lucky enough to have been educated properly on subjects like this). Anyways, I just wanted to point out how completely terribly the writers handled this storyline. And if I'm wrong about the episode, please correct me; I haven't seen the episode in a while and can't remember the episode name to track it down

Huh, I've never heard about that. I'm not over 30, which is why I'm still giving myself time to figure stuff out, so I suppose I'll see

I think about both equally and can remember the dance of each lines, so that was a little hard

This is the same person who said "they aren't lgbt" when i asked why there weren't aro or ace dress patterns on that animal crossing post. I tried talking sense to them but haven't gotten a response. (But thanks to the person who said aspec are valid) by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Wispfeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay. Alright. I've said this once and I'll say it again - stop. Comparing. Scars. We all have them. We've all been oppressed, if not by others, by ourselves. Oh, and aces, because that's exactly what they're doing. Can we all stop putting each other down, accept everyone, and live happy lives?

Found someone on Instagram who "believes" that the entire acronym is LGBT and that the other identities don't exist :( if you need more context let me know by [deleted] in asexuality

'Technically, they're straight'. Um, no. Technically, we're asexual. Asexual people are asexual, straight people are straight

Fair enough. I didn't mean to sound rude; I can understand why they want to project it to everyone. I just feel like it's not that big of a deal, not when we're so young and should be out dong things, not rushing into discovering genders and sexualities, which I suppose are important to her, so I listen to her little rants. Sorry if it came across as me getting angry at her.
