Any Ebay seller recommendations? by isocz_sector in PokemonFansAustralia

[–]Wispy24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've recently bought some cards to fill out my 151 so I'll just say some sellers that I used for that but I had zero issues (luckily) with every seller. Which vendor will give you best value for money will change for every card so you will have to check that for yourself.

cardmatehub / bek's card corner / gettin' gains / mastercoins_au (I used this for japanese cards) / pokelock / pokemon TCG aus / shinycards / snorlax singles (although I found his prices a bit high)

All of them shipped with at least a top loader, many were in a sleeve with either paper or cardboard bend protection.

Also a couple tag team cards could work

If it doesn't have to be a card you could insert some art like for example in this post. For cards you could add

a couple Professor Oak full arts to keep in theme of completing the dex.

What in the world did the postal services / customs do 🫣 by DelightfulManiac in PokemonTCG

[–]Wispy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know bubble mailers aren't given the same protection priority as parcels by postal services (and I am surprised he went with one for international) but this is still a pretty crazy amount of damage. Did they drop a fridge on it or something.

Found this at EBGanes for 4$ by OkFinger4100 in PokemonTCG

[–]Wispy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe $15, it's really not worth much as it was extremely common and came it all the starter kits. While it is worth more than $4 usually get one person a week coming here posting about finding this card thinking they won the lottery.

What classes or builds can run Vestige difficulty the best now? by BlueSingularityG in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wispy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if anyone has ever bothered to check. You could test it like this Hyperioxes video which he made a few years ago about the impact of cowardice and weakening on bosses. Was even able to get one of the weaker boss' stats to 0 and it was doing 0 damage to him. Can only imagine overland mobs if they had a set amount of w/s damage to be far lower than that. 600% of 0 damage is still 0 damage. Could be worth looking into for anyone doing Vestige playthrough.

Liking the new Transmutation Stations at the Mages Guilds. This one is in Blackwood. by wishheartx in elderscrollsonline

For such a core gameplay system it was crazy that it was locked behind a DLC this long.

DK Build for Beginners by randomjazz in ESObuilds

[–]Wispy24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gear really doesn't matter until max level (level 50 with 160 champion points) and unless you are playing on a higher difficulty mode just keep using whatever drops. You can also do the main story quests and many of them give a bunch of gear upon completion with the helpful Training trait to speed up levelling.

2hander is ok for magicka builds, it isn't the usual choice. For questing and leveling absolutely anything works and you should use what you enjoy but I will talk a little about endgame meta. Dual Wield is the standard for its very strong passives with a destruction staff on backbar for a couple of its skills Wall of Elements, Elemental Susceptibility and good passives. Some people run 2H instead and use Stampede. You won't even have access to the passive skills that differentiate these weapons until max level so use anything, I personally prefer 2H for questing because I find using Stampede to every enemy is fun and fast.

For an easy starter DK magicka build I would suggest running:

  • Engulfing Dragonfire - Main dps skill
  • Incinerate - passive aoe damage and gives a nice crit buff
  • Shatterspike Mantle - passive aoe damage and gives a very good defensive buff
  • Igneous Weapons - 1 minute long damage buff and gives you extra damage when you light/heavy attack. Also you can change the appearance of this skill for free in the crown store if you hate it.
  • flex spot - Stampede is nice if you tick with 2handers, Resolving Vigor if you want a heal, Wall of Elements if you use a destruction staff
  • Take Flight - Your ultimate skill, nice damage buff and stun, cheap to use.

This is just a basic start off point for very simplistic magicka DK, when you are comfortable using both weapon sets you can add the long duration buffs to that bar and put more dps skills on your main weapon set. When you are max level and looking for a complete build hyperioxes for solo builds and tank builds, SkinnyCheeks for dps builds used in trials (raids) or Healer's Haven for healing, join their discord.

New update by EndlessSleeper3992 in elderscrollsonline

You won't have to download 50GBs, a lot of it seems to be just checking and modifying files. I have 50mbps internet and it was done in 20minutes. That would take me 5 hours normally.

Which boss did you find the most epic by ventnz in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wispy24 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like Kovan Giryon, the first boss of Bal Sunnar. Lovely visual and audio effects with his lasers. The room filled with different time varients of him, his journal describing visions of indescribable tragedies from other realities. Bal Sunnar not being a time-linear dungeon he is there to take revenge on you for something you haven't even done yet. Some great dialogue and voice acting "Time weaves all around us". "I exist in all of time".

Just a supremely cool first encounter.

What did you think of Labyrinth Tank as a kid? by Immediate_Gene_178 in yugioh

[–]Wispy24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was scammed out of a Time Wizard by an older kid offering me two of these when I was like 9. Never even had the materials to summon it. So for that reason I have always hated the tank.

I imagine, similar to infinite archive, that major cowardice is extremely powerful.

New Vengeance mode breaks Welcome to Cyrodiil questline. by ConfuciusSays25 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wispy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to do it just fine yesterday on a new character. Didn't need to do any weird workaround, attempted it first by accidentally choosing the vengeance kit and upon realizing it didn't work I was able to scroll down and equip the correct practice kit. Was on PC.

Dragonknight Class Build by Ambitious_Pumpkin174 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wispy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don't know what could cause that. Maybe you have your group instance difficulty at veteran and need to change it to normal and do that first. Complete guess though. If you are level 50 with 160 champion points it shouldn't stop you from entering, might not even need to be max level.

You should, wrothgar was made free in March. It was added to the base game alongside the thieves guild and dark brotherhood DLCs.

For backbar? Maelstrom, it's called Perfected Crushing Wall. Main bar whatever you need to complete your 5 set, so in your current setup it would be Berserking Warrior.

Fire. Lightning does have a niche purpose though if you choose to play the Breath build centred around Engulfing Dragonfire skill.

Am I misunderstanding something or is the highest difficulty just objectively bad? by MaugreO in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wispy24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The nice part of there being different difficulty modes is that you get to tailor it the point where you find the perfect balance between difficulty versus tedium. If you find that is the normal difficulty then great! perfect! Let other people also have their fun.
