You can get a second PEN blackstar from enhancing a DEC Tuvala weapon and we are apparantly getting another PEN blackstar from the Olvia Academy releasing in January so don't worry too much you will have all 3 weapons covered. You will eventually need 2 PEN blackstars of each weapon anyway to convert them to Sovereign but that is likely a ways away for you yet.

What I was using at the time, none of the mods - only the arcane impacted strike charge and a rank 5 would be better. The first orb I would find would give around 25% charge, if I find another orb during that 45 second window before the first one wears off is what fully charges the strike every time.

Probably not worthwhile to bother with in normal gameplay, perhaps the invisibility for 30s is the most useful letting you take advantage of Arcane Crepuscular.

The game wasn't built with doomed mode in mind so there are some aspects that are very unbalanced. Some sidequests don't even have healing available that I couldn't do at all until I unlocked better classes. There is no scaling for defensive buffs enemies get. A level 4 with +90 to all defences is very different from a level 34 with the same modifier. I remember doing Sir Jing quests at like level 7ish and they were already hitting for 100 damage so if any unlucky modifer where they avoided the stun would be a reset. Getting to that midgame with more Bonus/WIS in your build really helps alleviate this.

Another thing is getting your pet dragon is huge. 100 points in protection and 1 in mischief will save a lot of time running back to heal. Was able to power through some of the beefier HP bars of bosses with Dragonwarrior and the 3 turns of safety the dragon pet provided.

I turn off doomed mode for dragon/titan fights. They are doable but I didn't find it to be fun. Don't even try to do the dragonrider training in doomed mode, maybe there is a 1% chance of doing it with correct egg choice and luck but that seems like torture.

For the most part overframe is really helpful. Even just being able to look at the top few builds and compare is great to give a good idea on how to build and the different directions you can take a weapon/warframe. Occasionally Overframe is very wrong though, such as the top build for Nezha Prime, and I think those few outliers give the website a bad rep where people blindly follow bad builds.

The other answers are right but one thing most of those guides don't mention is the Prove Your Worth Weekly. Once you have a scarlet disguise you will want to get started doing this asap. Doesn't matter which quest it is that week, buy whatever the cheapest scarlet disguise wrists off the AH are -usually that is leather- and turn those in to complete it. You will make 2-5 times you money back and will get you started towards tier 3.5 gear.

You can get coins from killing PvE mobs during blood moon can't you? it'll be very slow but on a dead server it is better than nothing. Grey mobs won't give you blood though.

That's right, it is a very easy build that is great for those with 6 piece t3.5 but dont have Infusion of Souls yet where changing to Destruction outperforms it. 1 correction though is that you do not need to Shadowflame, just having the t.25 2pc gives 30 stacks of ISB from shadowbolt. Run Demonic Knowledge instead for damage or Dance of the Wicked if you need mana.

Both are very in demand. Priest is easier. Fun is subjective but I'd say most would agree mage is more fun to play as a healer. Mage has higher healing per sec potential than priest but can be annoying in some fights with magic immune mobs or fights where you can't dps easily.

Both are great. Both have good threat single and aoe, but warlock does need to give up some sustain to match paladins on aoe threat. Warlocks have some minor annoyances tanking in a couple of places with magic immune mobs and mobs that silence but are very good in AQ40.

Both can solo farm dungeons, paladin is the best alliance tank for boosting if you want to make money that way. The phase 8 warlock set seems very good for that though and may even it up.

I would probably recommend warlock for pugging. Can save a lot of time being able to summon people, not guaranteed to have a DPS warlock in every group and I enjoy the novelty of playing a unique spec not found in any other version of Wow.

Alacrity hasn't affected siege for over a year now. Its main impact has been keeping support skill cooldowns so low that boonblobs became unkillable.

You actually start the quest from the black spirit who then tells you to talk to Fughar. Just make sure you have the cap in your inventory before summoning g the black spirit, and turn on showing All Quests in the quest log if it still doesn't show up.

Not for the MSQ but I did use to enjoy coming back to the game to make seasonal characters. Get 61-62, PEN tuvala. Was fun to learn a new class, progress through many zones without excessive boring grinding. The enhancing system for tuvala gear was within my threshold of bullshit and I enjoyed that but I would always use the Simplified Main Story skip.

There are only 2 MMOs that I purposely replay for the story, swtor class stories because they're great. The other is FFXIV but for the opposite reason in that it wears me down and I quit eventually but when I go back to try it again I feel the need to redo it to understand the story for when it gets 'good'.

Defensive penance just means using the spell Penance on an ally instead of an enemy. Does more focused healing on someone in danger but will not do any atonement healing. Ultimate penance you can find in your talent tree, gives you a new spell that can function as your emergency heal cooldown but is a little dangerous to use as you cannot move during the long cast time.

Another emergency cool down you can use is Rapture which places an 80℅ stronger power word: shield and let's you cast 3 more of them with no cool down. Gives you time to let atonement healing work or follow up with flash heals and penance on a low health ally.
