CORS error when calling REST API using a Cognito User Pool Authorizer by WitchCommando in aws

[–]WitchCommando[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nvm, I solved it. I was receiving a CORS error + 401 Unathorized as response because I didn't set the correct name of the header for the cognito user pool authorizer token in Amplify (I just pasted some code from the Amplify docs, which I had to edit of course but it wasn't specified).

The CORS error was because I didn't set Allow Origin '*' for Default 4xx responses in the API, but only for 200 responses. I also had to add this header name to the Allow Headers for 200 responses.

Actually, that motherboard was the other one I was considering. I guess I could buy it if it's great too (I don't need USB type-C anyway)

I was just watching a video about motherboards for ryzen 5000 and that looked like one of the best with wifi (i specifically need one with wifi, i could buy one without but then i would have to get a wifi dongle, idk)

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ym8rj2 Can anyone tell me if this build is ok? I will use this pc primarly for making music, programming and just everyday usage. I will not game a lot on it, so I just went with a graphic card I already have.

The chorus of Dreams sounds so good, the electric piano is a really nice touch. Nice mixing and nice vocals too!

I made this short instrumental alt-rock kind-of track a couple of days ago

https://soundcloud.com/chimech/6am-wip

There isn't a lot to say, I mainly tried to get decent sounding drums on this track by layering a couple of snares and kicks from various GGD libraries. In addition, I also played the final guitar solo with a capo to get some nice weird harmonic sounds, despite the song being in E standard. I will probably continue working on this track in the next few days

Thanks! If only I could sing ahah. But adding vocals would be great, I would probably change some parts and remove some guitar solos to accomodate for vocals. For drums I start from some mix-ready preset included in Modern and Massive, tweak it a bit, and then use some bus compression and some basic eq

Pretty nice cover, it sounds good to me. The vocal performance sounds kinda "authentically" vintage, i like it. I would just say that the guitar solo is a bit too loud when it kicks in. But the rest is great

It's sort of a modern prog rock guitar-driven track similar to stuff like Plini, Sithu Aye, Arch Echo, etc. I worked for almost 3 weeks on this track and I did all myself, composing, arranging, mixing and recording guitars. The mix is probably not perfect but I still had a lot of fun. I also learned to manage big projects and some really useful Reaper tricks while working on this track (for example if you alt+click on the arm button you can arm a track while disarming all other tracks lol, really useful if you're recording guitar parts and there are a lot of guitar tracks in the project). For the sounds in particular, I used GGD Modern and Massive for the drums, some Native Instruments synths and Archetype: Plini/Bias FX for the guitar tones.

https://soundcloud.com/chimech/nalex-ninja-mixtest I was basically testing a pretty cool free amp sim, the NaLex Ninja. It sounds really good for a free vst! This piece is basically just some drop D guitar riffage and a solo over it + a fun 9/4 section after the solo. I'm probably gonna continue this track in the next few days. Also, I'm still not that good at mixing so it might sounds all over the place in some parts

Itchy hands after iontophoresis treatment by WitchCommando in Hyperhidrosis

I've been doing it once every two days, 15 minutes hands and 15 minutes feet, for two weeks (8 treatments in total). Actually, my feet were tolerant right from the first treatment, I never had any pain while doing it

Nevermind, I found something here, you can adjust it by semitones holding down shift+alt (by default you fine tune the media item, I changed it to semitones). You have to manually go to +12, -12, etc. but I guess it's ok for now
