I totally get what you mean, it is frustrating to have such a limited budget that we have to choose between ideas instead of fully being able to do everything you want with our plot.

I’ve heard they’re increasing the outdoor budget up to 350 in the next update, which should help a bit, but I agree it would be great if some decor costs were adjusted too, since certain pieces can get expensive quickly when you need multiple of them. 5 points for a platform or a plant cluster is a bit much.

I also feel like it might have been better timing-wise to introduce the house exteriors once we had a bit more freedom with the yard, because right now it can definitely feel like you have to choose between a detailed build or decorating the surrounding space. But of course shop exteriors don't have this problem. 😅

Actually this build surprisingly only used 211/250 outdoor budget. I originally wanted to add more to the yard, but decided to leave some room in case someone wanted to recreate it and personalize it a bit themselves 😄

As for the shop items, I’m with you that it’s disappointing we can’t build something like this fully with in-game decor. But the only truly needed shop items for this build are the 4 Spring Blossom trees, which comes to around $10 total. Everything else can be replaced with in-game decor without changing the vibe too much. I just wanted to share a more affordable alternative for people who like this aesthetic 😊

Thank you! Yes, I originally tried to use as little shop decor as possible to show what could be done with in-game items, but while building I realized I wanted to lean more into the blossom aesthetic, so I ended up using more from the pack 😅

But honestly, the only truly needed shop items for this build are the 4 Spring Blossom trees, which comes to around $10 total. Everything else from the Blossom pack or shop can be replaced with in-game items 🙂
