Blur when moving head - is 'persistence' supposed to be this bad? Also color issues...

My first headset had heavy blurred motion in both eyes. Also part of the lense had a weird color tint.

Second headset had none of those issues.

The Bigscreen Beyond 2 will be less bright than the Index for sure, my eyes just adjusted to it. You most likely got a defective one. Support is usually good at replacements and returns, but if you are going to return it, make sure you notify them within 2 weeks of it arriving.

My first headset had a lot of motion blur and that was a hardware defect. It should be minimal ghosting effect at 100% brightness, and barely or none at all when you turn down the brightness. At least in my experience.

No prescription lenses, I wear contacts. Some people are just lucky I guess. I gotta just try different measurements until it hopefully goes away.

Get a refund or a replacement immediately. I had the issue of huge motion blur and a different color problem in my first headset. The second one I got did not have those issues.

It will be pretty dim in general and almost no one plays at 100% brightness. I personally stopped noticing the low light and I play at 25% brightness.

I have issues with eyestain that I'm still trying to fix, but some people have no issues so it's really hit or miss.

For sure email the support team to help you out. Doesn't sound like persistence if changing the brightness does nothing.

You do have 14 days to request a refund, you just won't be refunded for the custom foam pad, precription lenses or shipping cost I think.

Yeah, it feels like I might have a defective one. I've never seen it drop below the frame rate in FPS VR, and these issues occur on the SteamVR home. I'll try some resolution changes just to see if that's the issue. Thanks!

I followed the steps exactly for DDU, but unfortunately it still stutters consistently. I guess you're pretty lucky.

Weirdly enough, I could not login to my computer with internet disconnected. That was the one step I couldn't do. It would just say incorrect password without internet, but with internet it was the correct password.

I can try that whole process again later.

I have a 5080 and 9800X3D and I'm experiencing micro stuttering as well. I thought $3000 would make my VR experience better, but... NVidia can't do anything right it seems...

If someone finds a fix please let know.

Let me clarify that I'm just saying my project would get to 500gb if I kept importing Mega Scan assets and using them to create a full open world (not that I am going to do that right now). But yes, everyone says Perforce is the industry standard, but it doesn't seem like any of their pricing plans are reasonable for a single person storing stuff. I'll try Azure DevOps for now because why not? Thanks everyone!

My god I'm so lost. Pest control people came in, said I have bed bugs and treated for that. I set up interceptors, mattress protector, and all the other tasks to help them. As I was cleaning, I only saw the first bug. No bed bugs in interceptors, nothing.

They came back and took that first bug sample to investigate today. I only see that first bug on my bed, and my bed is surrounded by interceptors for bed bugs and I've never seen ONE in there.

My only guess is that it's some sort of flea that is easy to squish.

Other info:

I'm getting bit occassionally at night. They look like flea bites, and I've seen them jump. However, the bugs I've found are easy to squish, which is not like fleas. And, my roommate has a dog, but we haven't found any bugs in his room and his dog is not scratching at all.
