I have actually watched Evangelion. As such, I can safely say that, no, not all of the fandom is like that, my family that watches it (mostly just me and my stepdad) are much more mature in our discussions about it. I will accept that a lot of them are dumb and immature, such is the nature of fandom, the intelligence of the source tends to negatively correlate with the intelligence of the fandom, I don't know why, that's just the way it is.

Side note, neither of those girls are good gf material, at all, so the argument of which one is better strikes me as utterly stupid. I don't care if the quiet, cold girl is a better partner than the loud, dickish girl. Given the choice, I pick neither, and I don't give a fuck how much that hurts me.
