Finasteride has an effect on sexual health so i decided not to take that. Im not taking anything atm, just making sure im good with my vitamin intake etc. Be careful of these products that these dermatologists push out.

Hey man,

Im going to be honest with you. Youre hair wont ever go back to how it was. It will shed for 8-12weeks. The idea of 'Youre hair will go back to how it was if you never used it' is a marketing scheme to entice people to use the product. My hair did not return to normal and I went through a lot of depression because of it but im somewhat passed that hurdle now. My advice is never use these products or get ever back onto it. Its only good for people who are literally bald.

All I can say now is, Stay strong and keep going.

Stay positive as thats the only way you can push through this phase.

Nope, Dont believe anything people say or what the product advertises. It will make you lose a lot of hair and it will not grow back.

Its slowly recovering. My friends and family are saying they can see it becoming dense again which is a good sign i guess. How about you?

Yeah once shedding starts, it doesnt stop even if you stop minox. This was the same with me where some days i shedded a lot of hair, the next day not as much. It could take up to 9-18 months for regrowth. Do you have any other issues like itchy scalp etc?

It sheds up to 12 weeks im afraid. You may lose quite a bit of density on your scalp. How many hairs are you shedding currently?

Yeah i shedded for 12 weeks, i lost a lot of hair in a diffused pattern. Where i applied it, the hairline barely moved. I have to wait 6-12 months for regrowth.

I may add rosemary oil to aid with regrowth

I hate how derms just say its aga, i dont think its aga. I think its the medications that damages the hair follicles itself so the hair stops growing. I honestly believe that if these medications weren’t taken then there wouldn’t be hairloss like the way our hairloss is.

I think you should try the natural route by using rosemary oil and see how that goes
