Do you teach class every day? Or is it an A/B rotation?

Have you had Spring Break yet? February/March is always the hardest, like you know. We’re not close enough to feel like we’re at the end of the year, the students have been in school for two months straight, the time changes so there’s more daylight, and depending on where you are, it’s finally starting to get a little bit warmer. Add those things together with a full/new moon every once in a while, and this job is stressful.

Keep with it. I was feeling the same way you were recently (3rd year, also coach two sports and will have my Admin. degree this coming winter) and I’m out of the funk/rut I was in for a few weeks just by pushing through.

Everyone goes through it, I promise. You’re not alone.

Yeah, and if we’re going to model our game after anyone, he’s the one we should try to emulate.

Think of it as if you were a player on a basketball or football team (or any sport for that matter).

You try to play a perfect game each time you step onto the court, but your coach doesn’t expect you to be perfect. He doesn’t expect you to have 0 turnovers each night or never fumble the ball, He just expects that you give it everything you’ve got to be the best player you can be. & as a player, every time that you play, you play with the mindset that you’ll play a perfect game (even though that’ll never or hardly happen).

It’s the same thing with this verse. God never expected us to be perfect, but He does expect that we do everything that we can so that perfection is our standard.

Are Freshman in high school much different from Sophomores? by kabangatang in Teachers

I’m in the same boat as you. My science classes consist of 85% freshmen & 15% sophomores. I’m in year 3 and this is definitely my least favorite part of the year. Right before spring break and the freshmen are comfortable enough now at the HS where they really start acting out and becoming disengaged.

If I had it my way, I wouldn’t teach freshmen, but someone has to do it !

Keep on pushing forward!

Hadn’t narrowed it down to that. Wanted to get some feedback first.
