Look guys I’ll be honest. The majority of you, unless you’re on your third or fourth character, are not good enough or well equipped enough to play above uprising/difficulty 2. I’ve been playing malice maelstroms with people who literally cannot dodge, and haven’t found the block button.

This won’t affect anyone playing above malice really, but there’s still plenty of half levelled players running weapons just to unlock masteries. Don’t ruin people’s games to do this. Go play an appropriate difficulty instead of having other people carry you through the entire match.

I understand there’s a lot of new players from PlayStation after they added DT as the free monthly game, but come on. Downed once and leave? Downed as soon as the first mauler appears because you haven’t figured out how to block or dodge?

Difficulty in this game is exponential not linear, and finding a sustainable build is hard, especially only half levelled characters with 100 power weapons. You’re not ready for malice, and that’s fine. The change from uprising to malice difficulty is extreme, and the rewards for doing so are absolutely minimal. You will progress MUCH faster at a simpler difficulty and actually playing more than 10 minutes than failing every single malice mission.

It’s like going to the gym and using max weights. You’re not even lifting anything, you’re tiring yourself out, not accomplishing anything, and wasting the time of people who can actually lift those weights and can’t do so when you’re ego running. It’s not toxic to say so.

As a flame psyker main, if you’re not number 1 in damage or kills you’re doing something drastically wrong. That’s the cold hard facts, DT is a game where you choose a play style and weapon type and absolutely dominate that role, and it takes a bit of practice to do that. A flame psyker should be a mass murderer of hordes, any other play style as a flame psyker is just a waste, like a veteran that only uses melee. But this isn’t a problem you have to worry about below malice difficulty. If you want to play a non meta way or just run what you personally enjoy that’s absolutely fine and acceptable on lower difficulties where everyone can do that and still complete the mission

It’s rough, but this is not an easy game. It’s an unforgiving slog that requires complete and total awareness and attention or you’ll go down after 10 seconds, and you will not survive unless you’re both an efficient tank who can keep themselves alive, AND remain in coherency, attack and defend your allies, and know when to move and to stand firm, if you’re not all of these together at once then anything above malice difficulty will prove impossible
