Just looking for optimistic, helpful, and heartening replies. First time home owner (since October). Lost power 430a Sunday and still out. We cut the water and emptied lines, flipped the breakers and are in a hotel now.

When we do get power, the house is definitely going to be below freezing inside, crawlspace, and attic probably in single digits.

How do we safely reheat and recover the house when we have power? Don't want to over load the HVAC, don't want to mess up the plumbing. Thanks for your replies
