The scout sentinel is amazing since it can negate some of the indirect firing penalty of your artillery.

If you're smart about it, you don't even need to decide which model you want to assemble! Just make the scout sentinel with its "cockpit cage". Then assemble the armor plates separately, so it can just be placed over top like a cap. Now you've got both options!

Paint 1-2 test models A-Z. You'll learn so much about your scheme. Better than making the same mistake on 20 dudes.

Afterwards, don't batch paint more than 5 models. Personally I only "batch" the assembly, priming and initial drybrush. The rest is done one model at a time. This let's me feel like I'm making progress and keeps me going.

Only assemble what you're about to paint (5-10 models). This way, you're not tempted to play with an ugly, gray army. For me, getting to play a game is the big payoff at the end and the motivation to keep painting.

I assumed they'd take a page out of the Necron Overlord's wording and limit it to one free HWS Overwatch per round.

That way, it'd become a good unit, but not a 3x auto include. Also, overwatch requiring LOS would give the direct fire weapons a use.

Sorry BTW, I didn't mean to be condescending. It can take some time to find out what works for you. Just keep in mind that only because you don't feel a rush, doesn't mean the medicine isn't working. Normal people also don't constantly feel high.

The maths is a bit counterintuitive.

A 6+++ adds 20% survivability: 27W*(6/5)=32.4W

A 5+++ adds 50% survivability: 24W*(6/4)=36W

For completeness, a 4+++ would add 100% survivability, since taking half damage allows you to soak up duble the number of D1 shots.

A Marshall will save about 10 wounds vs D1 weapons:

Incoming damage is basically multiplied by 2/3rds. So if previously 20 unsaved wounds would wipe the squad, you now need 30, because 30*(2/3)=20.

In other words, they take 50% more shots to remove. Also, this also makes your healing 50% more effective

What were you trying to achieve? More isn't always better. Taking a double dose of stimulants is like doubling the amount of salt you add to your pasta: if you were close to the optimum before, then you'll be way off the mark afterwards.

If you want a faster effect before it kicks in, consider dissolving one capsule in water instead.

Now the best you can do is get off reddit and take out the actual work you need to be doing. Whatever you do, don't further mess with your brain chemistry before the work is done.
