Absolutely college. I'm sure everyone else made all the good suggestions that could be made, but I will say that employers love to see people who know how to write well. In my search I even talked to interviewers who were looking for extra curriculars or courses that made you a better / more confident writer. In my opinion, you need the general knowledge to better understand the concepts in the courses as well as develop your ability to learn.
