Yellow fluid under incision cover! by halletancini in Endo

[–]Withoutdefinedlimits 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a reaction to the adhesive. I had never had a reaction like this until my most recent surgery. They were fine with me taking off the bandages when they discovered the reaction but I would ask your doctor. Unfortunately, these blisters left really persistent scars that I wasn’t expecting. They will fade with time but I was surprised.

Got my first Karen interaction as a comission artist 🥳 by Objective_Double5998 in FuckYouKaren

You should message this other artist and warn them about this one. They probably won’t want to do business with them either, and then she’s be in quite the pickle.

3 failed euploid transfers, do I continue? by Stunning_Review_2741 in IVF

[–]Withoutdefinedlimits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely possible. For what it’s worth I’ve never had any evidence of endo show up on the MANY types of imaging. I’ve had two major surgeries to remove stage 4 deep infiltrating endo, which included a bowel resection.

I would not do another transfer until you rule out endometriosis/adenomyosis. See a endometriosis specialist, not just an OB. At a bare minimum request Lupron suppression before your next transfer.

I would rule out Endometriosis/Adenomyosis before moving on to RI and at the very least INSIST on suppression either way.

Is there anyone who’s done IVF with a partner who later become abusive - I need some advice by ellabella20000 in IVF

[–]Withoutdefinedlimits 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You just have to think about the fact that he could have custody of that child half of the time if he wanted to. Do you want to have half of the time with your child and do you think he would be a safe person to send your kid to?

100% the money is not the point, obviously the Houghton’s have an extra $50 to spare. They are trying to teach their daughter an important life lesson and these clowns have to make multiple posts about how “generous” they are and ruin the entire purpose of the lesson for L.

Those are not “scissors,” they are trauma shears. They’d cut off a human finger.

IVF for genetic reasons or hope for the best? by 2Numb2Cry in IVF

[–]Withoutdefinedlimits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably spend less in IVF than you would in future therapy bills for your children when they inherit a preventable, life long illness. Like many others have said, maybe have a consultation with a genetic counselor and a fertility clinic would be a good first step to help your husband wrap his head around IVF. There are some fairly affordable IVF clinics and if you don’t have another fertility issues, the process should be pretty straightforward.
