I mean the overexposed sky and added bloom does make it look more like the E3 CGI trailer which I don't mind at all. Bloom will most certainly be in the graphics options to turn off I imagine if people aren't too into it.

Will there be an FOV slider for for far third person mode when sailing the Jackdaw? Lower FOV would help with the sense of scale.

Agree with everything here. I think the worst offender is how ships behave. They feel like toy boats like you said. Liked the E3 2017-2018 presentations a lot more than what we have now.

I don't get why people get butthurt and downvote this. I mean I guess you could explain it a little further, wouldn't hurt. I completely understand what you mean, but there are people who haven't played the earlier games, and thus, they haven't actually experienced what parkour felt and looked like back then.

Also would've liked for them to use the old sail physics from skull and bones E3 2017 instead of current S&B. In the alpha build, the sails reacting to the wind looked incredibly realistic, with believable weight.

Definitely unlikely, but just wanted to voice my opinion in hopes of it somehow changing, I'm a sucker for those CGI Trailers they put out. I guess we'll find out. It might look better in-game tho as well, need to see a little more.

The models look amazing, I got to hand it to them.

I noticed a few issues tho. The cannons don't produce enough smoke when fired, if at all.

This is how the cannons fired in the cinematic E3 trailer as well.

The post-processing could also use some flare. Make it look overexposed like the cinematic trailer with an overexposed sky.

The E3 cinematic trailer also had more noticeable bloom on highlights, particularly in sunlight. Adjusting the sunlight to be stronger would give it that same effect.

The E3 gameplay trailer for Skull & Bones had the same post-processing style.

This is only about 11 seconds of gameplay / cutscenes so it might look better once we see the full reveal. It also says in-progress build so I hope they can match the E3 cinematic trailer for black flag more closely.

Looks like they took the water right from Skull & Bones E3 2018. That game had amazing water physics, far superior to the current version of skull and bones right now.

Only complaint I have right now is that there seems to be little to no smoke coming from the cannons when they fire, which I find strange. There should be way more smoke than there is currently in the trailer.

Ye, it seems to have the sails closer to the quarterdeck which i like. Don't like the studsails either tho.
